Wonderful dance boots. Fit wide feet.

These are terrific! I usually wear a 7.5 wide shoe. I wasn't sure if these would work because the description said they were medium. I bought a 7.5 and an 8 just to be sure it would fit. The boots that were sent to me actually said wide. The 7.5 fit great so I sent the other one back. These are well made and feel good and are easy to dance in.

Does the job, but be wary of the eyelets!

I was worried these would be too narrow for my feet. I wear a men's 13 wide. They have enough give that they don't squish my feet. They seem to be holding together so far, but I noticed the eyelets are coming apart on the inside. They're not solid rings of metal, they're basically small tubes that have been cut and flayed out to hold it onto the inside. That might work if they were made of a stronger metal. The "petals" on the inside of the eyelets are starting to fold up and poke the top of my foot. I have to go through and fold the eyelets back down before I can wear them on stage. If I'm ambitious enough, I might get an eyelet tool and put real eyelets on these boots.

Fake leather peels off quickly

I purchased these 2 months ago and they hardly lasted (2 months of rehearsals, 4 show nights) before the fake leather started peeling off. If you need shoes quick, for a short time, they work fine, but don’t expect them to last more than a few months.

They worked….for one show

These did what the needed to do and fit great, however they wore down really quickly. I used them for a musical that only had 6 weeks of rehearsal- and by the end the heel was sunk, the leather was peeling, and my feet hurt so badly wearing them. They were cheep, so you get what you pay for. They were very light & comfortable at first as well as looked like the pictures. if i were to get these again for a different production, I would rehearse in a different pair of shoes and only wear these for show nights- because they only stayed comfortable for about a week.

I wear a size 9 street shoe and ballroom smooth shoe. I wear a size 8 1/2 rhythm shoe so I wasn't sure which size to go with. I tried 9 first. It was too big and did not shape my foot. The 8 1/2 was perfect. It shaped my foot the way it needed to. The laces are really long. You have to dbl tie them but they stay tied. It is a split soul shoe do your feet have to get used to them if you are used to more arch support. The split soul allows you to feel more and it is easier to point your toes.
