Can't take these boots off!

Comfortable and Well-Made — But the Snake Version Is a PITA to RemoveThe boots are comfortable to wear and appear to be well-made. I was looking for tall rubber boots that aren’t big and clunky like the “M” boots, and these fit the bill.I had tried on the LaCrosse 15" Agility boots in-store — very comfortable, with tops that fold down easily for quick removal. The only problem: they were brown, and I wanted camo. So I found these on Amazon, clicked “Buy,” and that was that.Until they arrived.I didn’t realize I’d ordered the snake-boot version of the same boot. Nothing in the description tipped me off that these would be very different. Turns out the line “Snake protection fabric provides the best possible protection from shin to toe” means one thing: these boots are thick as focker — and almost impossible to fold down or pull off. Instant flashbacks to horse-show days when you needed a friend just to yank your boots off.There’s no heel ledge to step on while you pull, so removing them solo is a full-body workout. After many F-bombs and a near-pulled muscle, I finally wiggled free.That said, they’re great if you’re slogging through mud and don’t want to leave a boot behind (been there, face-planted that — funny in hindsight, funnier when it happens to someone else.So, if you plan to wear these boots forever or have a boot-removal assistant on standby, go for it. Otherwise, stick with the Agility 15" Waterproof Non-Insulated Hunting Boot — same comfort, far less drama.
