Great
Very comfortable and warm
I have been unable to find women's houseshoes on line that are true to size for some time (all run small) - I want a roomy fit for a houseshoe - I wear a size 10 in womens shoes - I bought a mens size 11 in this house shoe and it gives me a thumbwidth room to end of the toe and although secure, also is just roomy enough that they are comfy and not tight. They seem well made and the sole is good if you have to run out to mail box, etc. The 'collar' can be flipped up for more warmth around ankles if need be. Glad I bought these (also bought hubby a pair). >> Have to ad that I wish they were washable as we like them without socks. I do Not understand Why some people just have to post an 'answer' to a question when all they have to say is that they do not know the answer :-\ I did receive some helpful answers to my question about washing these slippers.
What more do I need to say with that title!!??Loved them…and so does she! I’m ordering another pair! Only word of caution; they are sized small. I’d order one size up. I am a 10 and that was a bit tight. (And why I didn’t complain when my wife loved them more…I’m ordering a new pair).😉😊
I am women’s size 8 and ordered men’s size 8. The fit perfectly. Way I tell right from left: small tag on outside of each shoe, on outside of foot.
I always bought this style of slipper at a local sporting goods store where I live. After the store stopped carrying them, I found them on Amazon last Jan. The stitching that attaches the fabric to the sole started failing shortly after I got them. I should have returned them at the time, but I ignored it because they were warm and comfortable. The stitching on the outside of one slipper is almost completely undone now and I have had them less than 6 months.Since it was past the time to return the slipper, I was unable to return, and didn't see a way to contact the seller. I don't know if this was a defect in one piece only or if these slippers are just cheaply made.If you are thinking about buying them, you might want to look elsewhere for better quality. In the past, these slippers lasted for years. I think it terrible that Amazon sells these and doesn't give you a way to contact the seller for a return. Even though it's past the return period, the stitching should not fail in less that 6 months. I hate throwing my money away on cheap stuff.
These are a total fail on the size. I read reviews saying that they run small. I wear a men's 10.5 (very rarely 11) depending on manufacturer, so I ordered a size 12. Nope! Too small. Toes cram into the front. Other than that the soles have very little padding, so the floor feels pretty hard beneath. There is zero arch support, but I sort of expect that from slippers. These guys call it a shoe. It really isn't. An arch supporting insole might fix both problems, but it would never fit as is. Construction seems okay for a slipper, but it would never last as a shoe.I will most likely send these back. I might consider the same item in a 13, because they seem fairly warm and medium soft.
