Not bulky and stays dry
My kid wore these ice fishing, they kept his feet dry and he said they were warm for the most part. He also wore them to a scout outing, he was literally outside all day in 25ish degree weather with a foot of snow, he said they didn't start to get cold until later in the day and stayed dry. So they are pretty decent boots, they are smaller, not bulky so they are easy to walk around in.

5 Stars for the Look, 3 Stars for the Design.
Let me start off by saying that it is listed as a women's snow boots, but when I looked up the sizing chart it said as the option I chose as 10 Woman's/10Mens. I am a man who wears size 10 shoe. These are made with a super thick liner that is superb insulation against the cold. The only problem is that with the separate insert liner your feet get crammed over your arches. The front of the boot is triple sewn between the rubber base, and the leather upper compressing that area right over your arch. If you remove the insert liner, there is so much extra space that your foot is floating in the boot.Someone I was very fond of wore duck boots frequently during the summer which were low cut. These are tall boots, but I always wanted duck boots. So, what is the problem? Namely this. If you want to put your foot in them with the thick liner insert already inserted, you will have a heck of a time getting your foot in there. (Remember i am a man and if a woman's foot is not as high in the arch as a man’s then these may be for you.)If on the other hand you insert your foot into the liner, good luck getting your foot into the boot. It is possible but difficult. Did I give up on my dream of duck shoes? Nope. So, I found a couple of sole inserts in the box which helped to take up some of that floating space in the arch area, but nowhere near as much. So, I broke out a second pair of inserts, sandwiched them, and tried again. Much better but still not on target. Then I got desperate. I undid the stitching of the liner inserts sole bottom, and used that as a third insert, and now the fit is right. One minor problem is the insert they included in the box had a piece of tape on it with the words, "Size 7". That's a problem because it is cut really thin from side to side, so I feel like I am forced to do a slight balancing act. I need a wider insert to match the other two. (One is the cutout, and the other is a shim I had in stock which was also full sized. So is there any insulation across the top? No, but I have thicker athletic socks on which do the job. The cold exposure is across the bottom and that now is covered with not only the woolen like insert I cut out of the insert, but two more inserts as well. I'm going to have to find another full-sized insert to avoid the walking on a tight rope syndrome. It's not so bad that it is a game changer, but a full-sized one would do better instead of the slim size 7 they provided.Okay, one more issue. These are the only pair of boots that I have that make a noise when you walk in them. It is kind of hard to describe, but upper leather section has a plastic look and feel to it and when you walk in them, the only way I can describe the sound is like when you see a cowboy mounting a horse with a leather saddle and noise that it makes. In plain words; it is a noisy boot.I would like to say go for it because you can return them, but I read the instructions about free returns, and it says that they only accept returns on certain sizes. So, if you select your size at the top of the page it will instantly show you on the right-side ordering column what the return policy is on that size. Please remember I am a man commenting on a woman's boot that also has a size ten listed for women and men so I gave it a shot.
