Very comfy, GREAT tread, well known high quality brand! They run large - go half a size down.

I got these boots to replace my north face snow/hiking boots that I’d had for well over a decade until one finally cracked. I chose these more because I expect quality from this brand as opposed to all of the random, generic (overseas) brands out there. When it comes to a good, waterproof snow boot, I prefer to stick with a brand known for quality.Normally, quality will cost you. These boots are fairly inexpensive by comparison to other well known brands, and I am very happy with my purchase.Important things to know:The boots run large. I wear an 8.5 (in pretty much every shoe, every brand), and the 8.5s were huge on me. Even with thick socks on, they were too big. But it was easy enough to return them and then buy the size 8. I was too hesitant to go down to a 7.5, but in all honesty, a 7.5 would probably fit me just fine. The 8s are perfect though, especially for the days I might wear a thicker sock. The tread seems great so far! I haven’t slipped at all yet, and we’ve had plenty of ice and snow for me to try these out on. My 70lb dog tends to pull me on walks (we’re working on that lol), so I wanted boots with good tread so I don’t slip. These are definitely slip-resistant.The boots definitely keep my feet warm without being uncomfortably hot, and dry even in deeper snow. They don’t feel heavy at all, which was something about my old boots that sometimes bothered me. Sometimes a good, water resistant snow boot with good tread will be heavy. These are not.I was also looking for a boot that would be easy enough to slip on and off for walking my dog during the day. My old ones zipped up and were as easy as it gets. I couldn’t find any good zip-up boots, but these are easy enough to slide my foot into.Note that the eyelets at the top of the boot, which look similar to the kind you see on many other kinds of shoes, are not open. In other words, the laces do not come out of them unless you actually pull them out through the eyelet (is that even what it’s called?). One of the first things I did when I put the boots on is try to pull the laces out to the side so I could tighten them, and that’s when I realized this. So they don’t “hook” the lace; they actually completely hold the lace.As for the style of the boot, it wasn’t my favorite when I was looking around for new boots. But these faux fur on top does look cute, and my husband actually said he really liked the boots when I wore them with leggings. And he’s kind of a shoe snob. ;)Finally, I have to say that it kind of feels like you’re walking on a cloud with these. I don’t remember reading that they were memory foam soles or anything, but they feel great! All in all, I’m thrilled with these boots. I’m glad that I was convinced because of the brand to get these instead of several other brands I can’t even pronounce but that looked super cute. I’ve learned that shoes are not the best quality from these random sellers, so I don’t even bother with them anymore. They may look cute, but they probably won’t last as long as my old boots or as long as I imagine these boots will.In summary, if you need a good water-resistant snow boot with gripping tread that looks cute enough, is of high quality, and doesn’t cost a fortune, these are your best option. Just remember that they do run large. My suggestion is to order half a size down the first time.

Excellent boots, great fit, good price.

Excellent traction, true to size, warm, and comfortable. They are easy to put on and take off. Just open the Velcro, step in, and close the Velcro to fit. Soles are sturdy and strong. I expect to get excellent life out of these boots. Uppers are attractive, as is the faux fur. These boots are a great choice, especially for the price.

Cute Boot

Boot looks nice and is comfortable. Slightly larger than expected, but thick socks should take care of that. Feet tend to get cold while wearing them. The warmth feature is centered around the fur on the upper edge and ankle area. It feels like memory form on inside, though real supporting arch. They held up well while walking in the snow so they are at best, snow or water resistence.

Very Happy with this purchase.

I needed a new pair of blizzard boots to replace my old Columbias which were literally disintegrating after having served me valiantly for 15 years, but have been discontinued. These are a respectable replacement - almost as waterproof as my old ones - the webbing does not quite extend the entire height of the boot shaft, but they make up for that by being MUCH more lightweight. They have enough room to slide into without untying the laces and enough room in the footbed for thick cabin socks or orthotics, if you need them. But they are not too big without either of those. The arch support is adequate and comfortable. I would recommend these.

Cute and functional

I am size 8 wide. I bought size 8 wide. These are wide enough to be comfortable, length is just right, room for my toes to wiggle around and a thick sock. my feet stay warm. The faux fur shed off a bit while initially wearing them but that did not take away from the appearance. Inside is not lined with faux fur. I bought these for the cold Colorado winter, but it has snowed once thus far. I still choose to wear them during this mild winter because they're easy to put on, versatile with outfits and cute. There is no zipper, but tongue allows for you to shove your foot in. The color is black black and the weight of them is not heavy. I cannot speak on their waterproofness or how they function in the snow. I still love them for their sleek design. You can tuck wide leg or sweatpants into them or wear the pant leg outside of them. Good for thick socks.

Stylish and warm

Wonderful boot!! I recommend only going up half a size if you have a wide foot..there's plenty of room for a thick sock. Water proof and held up in this icky NYC snow and sleet.. only drawback, they're a bit clunky but still stylish when walking..warm on the inside and easy on and off! Hey lands end,we need more colors!!

No go

Nice enough quality item, but despite the reviews saying the velcro was tighter to bind than lacing, these boots are WAY too wide for the velcro even to engage. My leg was slipping around inside just taking 5 steps. Not right at all. And I'm surprised that a name item only comes in a plastic bag vs a box.
