Look good, feel okay, not sure if they live up to the non-slip claims.
These shoes arrived quickly and I was anxious to try them on. They came wrapped in plastic rather than a shoebox which seemed a little odd, but otherwise seem to be manufactured well .Getting them on was a little tough for me because I'm older and not as flexible as I once was. These days, my sneakers of choice are the step in kind that you don't have to use a shoehorn with. Unfortunately, these are not made to be stepped into and it took quite a bit of effort to get the heel section over my foot, which wasn't too much fun.Well the shoe is reasonably comfortable, I noticed that on polished concrete surfaces, like in the supermarket, there wasn't a whole lot of non-slip traction, at least not to the degree of what I was expecting. So non-slip? Let's just say I have my doubts.The real issue for me is that the material that fashions the top of the shoe doesn't really have any venting nor does it breathe, so after a walk around the block, my feet felt pretty warm. I guess the advantage of their construction would be that they are somewhat waterproof, but I'm not sure if I would want to work in these shoes all day long. Arch support is decent, but in conclusion, at least for a senior citizen like me, as attractive as they appear, I would not purchase these shoes again.

Comfortable and sturdy non-slip shoes for work
I got these shoes for my son who works in retail and spends long hours on his feet. He often moves between the tiled sales floor and the parking lot to load/unload and gather carts, so non-slip shoes are essential. He has large, wide feet and it’s often a challenge to find a reliably good pair of work shoes that fit and look decent, and most importantly are not non-slip in name only. But these fit him well, look good without being clownish, and they have a thick sturdy sole with excellent traction. He said they stayed non-slip both indoors and outdoors even with the heavy rains we've had over the past week. The toe box is wide and roomy enough yet slightly shorter than what he’s used to, but it hasn’t caused any discomfort and the shoes remain comfortable through long shifts.So far, the shoes seem durable and well-made and I appreciate that they truly are non-slip. I’ll be watching how they hold up for him over time and will update this review if needed. Overall, these are solid and comfortable shoes that perform well in wet and busy work environments.

No arch support
The shoes are extremely lightweight. However, the thin insoles lack arch support, and the heel initially digs into my ankle, making it uncomfortable. The workmanship is ok, with everything glued well and no loose stitches, but the material quality is below average for this price point.These shoes are suitable for light duty and indoor use, as the thin sole won't endure well on cement or gravel. Adding an insole is recommended for added comfort. The positives are their lightweight and non-slip nature, while the overall quality is a downside. I don't think they're the best value since they probably won't last long as a work shoe.

A great reimagining of the restaurant shoe ...
... away from plastic/rubber clogs and loafers. This is really just a great pair of water resistant non-slip casual shoes that can double as sneakers. Great traction; great fit; they seem really durable and - most importantly - they are incredibly comfortable. For the durability, they are not tough or stiff and hard to break in. If you need a steel or composite toe, this is not the pair for you, but everyone else will love these. Great value!
