Exchanged for smaller size and fit perfect
2nd edit- I returned the 7’s and got 6 instead. The 6 fits perfectly. Like I said below I do wear a six sometimes, but also a 7 in some shoes, in my experience with these boots they seem to run a little big. If you’re a half size like me, I’d go down not up.Edit- Nope, have to return. When I tried to actually walk around in them, they’re huge… way too big. Like actually falling off when I walk around big. I’m going to try the 6; hopefully those work, because they are cute and inexpensive.I wanted to get some rain boots for gardening or just getting mail/taking out trash or recycling/etc when it’s pouring. I specifically wanted calf height boots and wanted something kind of cute. I looked at many different brands and these seemed to fit what I wanted best. I wasn’t sure which size to order; I wear a 6, 6.5, and even a 7 depending on brand. 90% of my shoes are 6-6.5, but, for whatever reason, there’s a few brands that I need a 7. I decided to get the 7’s because I didn’t want them tight or too fitted, but they’re so big! My toes are nowhere near the toe of boots. My feet slide around a lot when I walk. I’m still not really sure what to do… keep and just have too big boots, exchange for 6 that may be too small, or just return and try to find something else? I don’t know and still can’t decide. I have to think about it more, but ugh, if only they had half sizes!!

Cute boot but they run large
I purchased these boots to replace some cheap ones I picked up at Tractor Supply. These cheap ones latest about a year then started to leak. I only used them to bring my dog out in our yard and work in the flower gardens, so didn’t get much wear. I think these Laura Ashley boots will last much longer, since they seem better quality and much better made, They do run very large and are heavy. I am normally a size 7 and these fit well with large bulky socks, which is a bit much in the summer but doable. In response to the reviews that complain about arch support - get inserts! These are not made for walking or hiking. Overall I am very happy with these boots and think they will serve their purpose well - keeping my feet and socks dry walking in the wet grass and working in the gardens.

Comfort was okay just left like I’m gonna roll over in the rain. Fit narrow but I need a 7.5 not 8. I ended up returning it. Only because I work outside and I go up and down the steps and it didn’t feel safe. Function for me is more of gardening
