Not the softest, easy to slip on.
Got these shoes to wear around the house, as they seemed real comfy. After trying them out, they’re not as comfy as originally thought. The insoles feel like cheap foam, and they’re pretty thin overall. They fit okay, although they’re slim and definitely not for wide feet,

Good for knocking about the house.
These are good for knocking around the house or light duty outside. I knew these were very basic shoes as they are a classic Chinese design. They have a flat interior, so no arch support here. They are narrower than most medium shoes. I wear a AA to a AAAA depending on who makes the shoe, the design of the shoe and if a narrower size is on offer. This are a bit big on my across the toe, but nothing that a foam insert didn't fix. These are a raw canvas shoe with no lining. They may rub in places until the canvas is worn in. They do wash well, but I dry them under a fan or in the sun. I don't like putting shoes in the dryer as it may loosen the glue and weaken the elastic fiber in them. These are good for knocking about the house or light exercise.

Hard to size
The fabric is just ok, definitely a cheap vibe but I really just got these for something to wear inside. When putting them on I thought they fit well, but because there’s so much open space the heel slips off every other step making them almost unwearable. I wear 9-10 and aimed low getting these in 9 because I figured tight was best, maybe an 8.5 would work but even then it’s a guess. The problem with getting these online is there’s no margin for error.

Very very traditional I recommend keeping a seamstress on call
I think the thing to remember the most with these kinds of shoes is the fact that there is no rubber or really anything on the bottom to help with tractions. So wearing around the house or on the streets can be a little deadly and the soles wear out super quickly these are more meant for cosplay or of course a tai chi studio versus general use. I would say quality is pretty ok very traditional in style and I can see why they needed frequent repairs. The good news is if your handy with a sewing needle this wont be an issue to maintain them. If not finding a seamstress is your best option. Size is kinda weird I think they were based on mens sizes so I learned the hard way next time to go a lot smaller even though they say they are narrow act like they aren't when getting your size. Comfort was ok not great for long wear but good for short periods of time.

Sewn together well, but run a little big and the toe area isn't that comfortable
I wanted to like these more than I do. The pro is they seem to be made out of natural material, but they put an insole inside them (loose and easy to just take out), but that feels like a bit of synthetic, or rubber. The shoe runs slightly large, but i wouldn't want to get the size down because it already doesn't give enough clearance over the top of my toes, I wish the toe area was a little more rounded and didn't hug so tight down there. So they feel a little big and a little uncomfortable on top of my toes. I think if I wear them with even thicker socks they might be manageable, but they are not really what I want to wear based on how they fit unfortunately. They are sewn together very sturdy, so they don't feel like they will break, they just aren't as comfortable as I was hoping.

Slippery bottom
These shoes are pretty well made. I cannot fault them for that. The stitching on the bottom half is not horrible. A very traditional style shoe. My only issue with them is the bottom of the shoes have absolutely no grip whatsoever. They actually made the person wearing them fall down the stairs. I was thinking the bottom had a slightly rubber soul, and that was stitched into the bottom. Which would make them a wonderfully grippy and great shoe. But unfortunately it is some kind of cloth. There is no rubber on the bottom. No textured grip other than the stitches. Unfortunately any sort of wood floors, marble floors, tiled floors, anything other than carpet these will have zero grip. Because the build quality of them is pretty nice for around twenty. I'm only going to remove one star due to the slippery factor. Luckily put a little silicone on the bottom, and that should fix the problem. these do grip just fine on carpet and concrete, so if you're using them like the lady in the picture on some concrete and doing some Tai chi. They will be fine. In Grass I don't know.
