Legit! But I wouldn’t train in them.
I’d guess, unless you’re Buddhist monk, you’re probably buying these to complete your Shaolin look. These seem to be legit shoes worn by monks! They simply have that authentic look! But as a martial artist I’ve come to know how important it is for shoes to be tight in order to perform at my best and these have no laces. Not a surprise- I think I knew that going in. If I had to perform in these, I’d certainly go a size smaller. I got a 43 when my training shoes usually are 42. I would definitely go 42 if I was planning to perform. Other than that, I love the way these complete my robed look. You can wear these shoes comfortably for any other occasion. They look great with robes or just anything traditional loooking!

Lightweight and Properly Sized
These Buddhist Monk shoes by Lazutom are lightweight and appropriately sized. The sole is a black rubber, as opposed to the yellowish photo shown in the item description. The slip-on shoe stretches enough to be put on without the use of a shoehorn. There are no laces or zippers. The canvas/cotton/linen upper has a slight stretch to it, and the insole appears to be removable, as it is attached with Velcro. The width of the shoe varies between narrow and medium, making it not ideal for those seeking a wider width shoe. The fit is snug.As for comfort, I found the shoe moderately comfortable, as the burlap insole is padded and the rubber sole has a fair amount of give to it. Although multifunctional, as based on its overall description, these are terrific shoes for wearing around the house, or as a substitute for slippers. They can be worn outside, although I would caution stepping in a puddle with them on, and would focus more on walking with them instead of running or jogging. The color of the upper is accurate. The quality of manufacture is good and solid, but not exceptional. Pricing at this time is appropriate, although similar shoes or slippers can probably be found on Amazon for less.Recommended. Made in China.

Lightweight and comfortable!
These have become my new favorite lately! The sole is flexible, with a nice grip. They’re quiet on both carpet and hard surfaces, and don’t leave scuff marks. Flexible, well-sewn with no stray threads, and the stitching is tight and even. The insoles are flax/linen, which is lightweight and breathable. Unlike others, I found the sizing to be very accurate and the toe box quite comfortable, and I have fairly wide feet. The pricing is similar to what I’ve paid for other pairs, and the quality is quite good. Time will tell on the durability, but these feel more sturdy than my last pair.

comfortable and simple shoes
These are excellent slipper shoes. I was hoping they would have zero drop soles, but they have your average drop. They are very comfortable. I was a little surprised at the weight of the soles, I thought they would be more lightweight than they were. I was able to move very quietly in them, but I don't know how good they'd be for kungfu/exercise. I don't think they fit securely enough to run in. I have wider feet- I generally wear shoes with a wider toe box and these were comfortable for me. The fabric is breathable. I haven't taken these outside of the house so I'm not sure how well they'd grip on varied terrain, but they felt solid on my home surfaces. I think they are a good price for linen shoes.

Loose fit
I've never worn kung fu shoes before, but I like them. They do fit a bit loose, as I normally wear a size 10 and ordered a 10 but my heal is popping out as I walk.Maybe it's because I'm use to wearing socks and I'm doing no socks with these shoes.I think I'm going to have to wear socks with them to make it so I'm not sliding around in them.Soles are good material and the insole is firm but ok.

Runs Small so size up!
These slippers are a great find for meditation or light indoor/outdoor wear. I'm usually a 9.5 but went with a size 10, which was the right call...they definitely run small and a bit narrow. That said, they’re lightweight, flexible, and surprisingly supportive with the rubber sole. I use them mostly for meditation classes and around the house. What I Like:Comfortable and breathableIdeal for indoor use or light outdoor walksRubber sole provides decent tractionFeels well-made and thoughtfully stitchedMinimalist and lightweight, easy to packConcerns:Runs small and narrow...definitely size upNo idea yet how they’ll hold up after washingNot ideal for wide feetIf you’re looking for a basic slipper with a peaceful, minimalist vibe, these work really well—just make sure to size up. I’ll likely get a second pair just to keep at the door.

Run a little small
I have this 4 stars only because the run a tad small. Feet hit the very end at toe off shoe, hoping they will stretch over time. They are very comfy and soft.
