I have only tried these on, but being from Scotland these are good quality Scottish brogue, comfortable and what they are supposed to be. My only down side is the only size I could get was in half sizes so instead of a uk 10 I had to get a uk 10.5 but I am pleased with what I have, hopefully the kilt socks will make them a better fit
This was a great pair of brogue! I have a size 12 US and the 11.5 UK fit perfectly. I was in them for over 4 hours on the first wearing.
Awesome brogan. The fit and look match the excellent quality. The heal guard is especially good as my past military drilling causes me to wear out my heels on the edge.
Listing could have been more clear about sizing being UK, not US. Big difference. Also, the Commando sole option looks very chunky/clunky in person. OK, if you're only looking for comfort. Once again, very solid, well-made ghillie brogue.
I am a piper so I use these ghillies quite often. I can tell you from experience that they are far more comfortable than any ghillies that I have worn over the many years of piping and marching. My feet never got sore or tired. Don’t think twice about purchasing these for yourself or for band issue.
Son-in-law is new bag piper. Bought these as a Christmas gift. He loves them as all things Scottish!
