Buttons problematic

The shoes are a good fit and durable, however, just after a month of use, one of the buttons broke. The wire ripped and the light up feature is now unusable. We were aware from other reviews that the button could be problematic so we were very careful with the button, but despite our best efforts, it still broke.Looks like it will be a PIA to try and repair it. Now have a disappointed kid with only 1 light up shoe.
