Overall good shoe for the season
Held up pretty good for the summer season. My daughter wore them heavily during daycare (2x/week), plus visits to the pool and beach and she is an active kid. Easy to get on(as long as foot or shoe isn’t wet. By the end of the summer, the pink started to peel away at the tow box but I caught my daughter scraping the toe box on the ground to speed up that wearing. Will buy again next season.

Easily stretches over AFO leg braces!!
5/28/2025- I’ve been searching for a water shoe that will fit over my daughter’s AFO leg braces for a couple years now, and these are a winner!! For size reference, I usually buy her a Toddler 9-wide in the Billy Footwear brand for AFO wearers. I purchased a size 10 in this water shoe since it doesn’t come in a wide size, and thankfully it’s not too big length-wise on her feet. I recorded a video to try and capture the excellent stretch that slipped very easily over her AFO, the large Velcro pads that accommodate the larger ankle size due to the presence of the leg brace, and of course the cuteness because it’s hard to find stylish shoes for a little girl with leg braces! All the water shoes I’ve found made specifically for AFO’s have a more boy-ish look. I’m writing this review mostly for the other parents/caregivers of AFO-users out there, and I highly recommend these because of the stretch and cost-effective pricing too!! I’ll update if there are any issues we encounter. I’m hoping they hold up well for summer boating and walking on the beach area!!

My toddler absolutely loves these shoes and wears them everywhere. She refuses to wear different types of shoes. These are the style she prefers. According to her they are comfortable and soft, flexible. They bend with her foot. They're easy for her to get on and off by herself. And they do not fall off on their own..

Sizing is not always correct!
Normally I don’t leave a review, I like to contact the seller and give some feedback. I ordered three pairs of these shoes in different sizes. 6.5, 7, and 9. The 6.5 and 9 fit perfectly! The size 7 was very big! Quite a bit bigger than the 6.5. Very disappointing. The shoes will not stay on. I hate to order the 6.5 because those are definitely too small for the child that wears a 7.
