Well made, sexy and comfortable!
The most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn! I wore these shoes to a Fall wedding at a beautiful farm venue. I walked on a gravel driveway, thick grass, concrete sidewalk and a hardwood dance floor; and these shoes never failed me. I'm a size 8 1/2 or 9 wide, ordered the 9 wide, and it was a perfect fit. I didn't have time to break them in and my feet never hurt, not once! The cushioning inside the shoe is generous and the entire width and length of this shoe. My toes never felt squeezed either; such a relief! Good enough traction on the heal and sole so I didn't slip once. They offer good support and have a little stretch in the toe area. I was happy these didn't dig into my heal and give me a blister, like other shoes can. The wider heel still looked sexy and helped me to avoid problems with some balance issues. My feet got a little swollen (see picture) and I just had to loosen the strap one notch, and my feet still felt comfy. I wore them to another wedding in November and they are still perfect. I would definitely buy this shoe again and in other colors. They seem to be well constructed and I hope they last! Buy these shoes!!

I purchased these shoes to wear to a wedding.. the style and heal height were perfect. I don’t wear “ high” heels anymore and I was able to dance all night without my feet hurting. Very comfortable. I did order an 8W as I have bunions and some reviews said they on the narrow side. I’m only giving 4 stars as these shoes did have ( in my opinion) a major issue.. because the toe box area of the shoe comes to a point but is squared off at the tip , there is A LOT of excess room in that area ..almost an inch and a half!!! This made walking in them at first awkward because the felt like clown shoes!! I did get use to them by the end of the night but because I had no time to look for other shoes I had to wear them .. after the fact, I read more reviews ( not on Amazon but on other online shoe stores ) and saw others mentioned this flaw as well .. here is the LifeStride shoe ( on the left ) next to one of my other size 8 shoes.

Adjustable strap - stylish
This is my first review but feel compelled to share my experience. After ordering and returning three other pair of dress shoes, I'm delighted to say these Leighton pumps are very classy and fit well. The important factor is the adjustable ankle strap. I consider my 8W as true to size. The fabric is suede with faux leather accent. Very stylish and comfortable!
