Fabulous rubber boots- cute, comfortable, and affordable!

I was very excited to be able to try these rubber boots out! The only thing that threw me off was the lack of sizes available above a size 8. Normally I wear a size 8.5 or 9; usually a pretty solid 9. But I wanted to get these badly enough that I went ahead and ordered the size 8.After they arrived and I was able to try them on, by some miracle they fit. Honestly, it was a slightly tight fit and very difficult to pull my feet off of the boots once they were on. The length wasn’t bad, I didn’t need to scrunch my toes to get them to fit. I had a little extra room. But I was also barefoot when trying them on. I would imagine that was a big reason as to why it was more difficult to get them off too.I am going to try them on again wearing a thin sock underneath, and see how that goes. Hopefully they will still fit okay and be easier to remove. I was totally flabbergasted by how lightweight these boots genuinely are! They are lighter than any other pair of shoes I currently have in my closet! They are made out of one solid piece of rubber, even so there are some fun details that have been added to make these more unique.There are faux shoelaces formed in the rubber, as well as some other interesting aspects I found, like the texture change that delineates where the shaft would be located. I didn’t have these on for very long, to be completely honest, but while I was wearing them to walk around inside my home, they stayed in place, they were warm, and I also found them to be very comfortable. Without using a sock to cover my feet, my feet were a bit sweaty when I finally got them out. But I don’t think that would happen as long as I use a sock. I didn’t notice any odor or scent from the boots. They had a slight rubber scent, but nothing else. Nothing that was bothersome.Overall, this is a fabulous pair of tall rubber boots! This style is so trendy right now, and this particular pair is every bit as cute as the more expensive styles. Beyond aesthetics, I have no doubt that they will perform well outdoors. They seem very well designed and well made, perfect for gardening and fishing among many other outdoor activities, and looking great in the meantime!

Order a full size up and buy some padded insoles! And you’ll love em.

I really like these except for the fit. They are lightweight, comfortable, and sturdy. The shaft fit my 13.25 inch calves and straight jeans (a lot of fabric) easily. The soles seem to be designed almost like a rocker shoe, which makes walking lower effort than in my other rain boots. I haven’t tested them in the rain yet so I’m not sure about waterproofing, but these seem like injection mold plastic and I don’t see any seams for water to come through.The fit, though. I’m a solid size 7, sometimes a 6.5 in flip-flops. I ordered a size 7, but my toes hit the ends even without socks. These would better fit a size 6 (a whole size down!) or mayyybe a 6.5 if you didn’t wear thick socks. However, I like the walking experience enough that I think I’m going to pay for a pair of 8s. (I received the 7s for free through the Amazon vine program; for those who don’t know, the program doesn’t allow returns or exchanges.)Minor complaint and a note. First, the insole is covered with small, sharp plastic nubs. Does the manufacturer think these are massaging? They most certainly are not. They’re uncomfortable. I’ll have to buy padded insoles. Second, these are advertised as insulated, but they aren’t. The interior is just plastic—the same plastic that the outside is made of. There’s no lining, and the plastic isn’t thick enough to be insulating, in my opinion. I’m OK with this because I don’t like the heat of insulation, but if that’s what you’re looking for, be aware.

Great for wet and muddy yard work

These are great for keeping your feet dry and warm. My wife wears them for a muddy yard cleanup and her feet stayed completely dry and comfortable. The boots feel surprisingly light for how insulated they are, so they’re easy to wear without feeling bulky. The soles have good grip, which made walking on wet decking and loose gravel easy and safe.They can get a bit warm indoors (but I would not recommend them for indoor use unless your plumbing is having issues), and the ankle support is fine for casual outdoor use. Make sure to check your size—if you plan to wear thick socks, you might want to go half a size up. Overall, they’re durable, comfortable, and practical for everyday outdoor tasks. (I got these for my wife, so she helped with this review).

Very lightweight

Very lightweight and looks like it will be easy to clean. No liner on the inside - just straight up rubber boots. It says it's insulated but it doesn't feel like it though I haven't worn it in cold weather yet. I often visit farms so I will keep this in my vehicle for that and then rinse off/sanitize afterwards before going to the next farm. It looks like it will be easy to do that. It's also very light so easy to walk around. Will update with any issues should they occur. but overall I am satisfied - I'm a true size 7 and it fits perfectly with very little room to spare (not for wearing with thick socks). I got the green color and I like it - like an army green.
