Very comfortable to walk in but there suede is worn in some spots
I ordered these black suede flats in my usual size 8 and they fit true to size. The insoles are comfy and they feel cushioned enough that I can't feel the shock from walking when stepping on hard, concrete streets. They do rub up against the skin on the top of my feet a bit though. The friction is slight but becomes more noticeable after a few hours of wear although I'm hoping that will stop as they stretch out and become more worn. It's a minor irritation but I thought it was worth mentioning.My biggest issue is that the suede seems to be worn down and rubbed almost completely off in certain spots on the outside of these shoes. It makes me wonder what happened because the areas where the suede is worn down makes it look like they're used and have been worn before. Although the tops of the shoes don't look brand new, the soles on the bottoms of the shoes look new and not used at all and so I really can't explain the contradiction and why the suede looks the way it does. I do like these flats though and they are more comfortable to wear than most other flats that I own. The soles bend easily with your feet and don't feel stiff and I really like that about them. Overall, I appreciate the comfort of these flats but the spots where the suede is worn away detract from the look and my love of these shoes but I'd still give them 4 stars.
