Don't be put off by the reviews that the soles are slippery! They are BEAUTIFUL boots, and exceptionally well-made. The heels are rubber, but the soles can be slippery on tile or floors. The easy remedy is to buy a pair of Non -Slip Shoe pads, sold at Amazon for 4 pairs for $5.99 or Target at $1.99 a pair. If you go to Target, check the internet for availability at your nearby store to make sure they have them in stock. My store only had two pair left. I have used these shoe pads before and need only to peel the paper cover off, and affix them to the bottom of your boots or shoes.
