These Women closed-Toe Platform Wedge Espadrilles sandals turned out to be such a good find for me. I wanted something that I could throw on during the summer that would look nice but not kill my feet after a couple hours, and these check that box. They’re lightweight, the height of the wedge is just right at around 3 inches, and they don’t feel clunky or heavy the way some platforms can. The woven straw look on the wedge gives them that classic espadrille style, and the taupe color is soft and neutral enough that it goes with just about everything I wear—dresses, shorts, even jeans.One thing I really like is the removable ankle strap. It’s nice having the option. I’ve worn them both ways and I actually prefer without the strap, but when I want a little extra support I’ll use it. The elastic in the strap makes them easy to slip on without fussing. The vegan suede material feels soft and hasn’t rubbed me the wrong way or caused blisters, which is a big deal since I’ve worn them all day in the heat. The shoes also have a little bit of grip on the bottom, so I don’t feel like I’m sliding around.They fit true to size, though when I first put them on I thought they looked slightly off on my foot, like maybe not the most flattering angle, but once I had them on with an outfit that thought kind of went away. I’ve gotten compliments on them already, and I think they strike that balance between casual and dressy. These shoes are really well made. The rope espadrille wedge is perfectly attached. The man-made toe material looks and feels like real suede. And the color is perfect for summer. They go with so many of my summer dresses. I wear a size 7 and ordered a size 7 and it fits perfectly. The ankle strap is adjustable and not annoying like other ankle straps I have worn. The shoe is easy to walk in. The only issue I have is that there is no arch support whatsoever. A slight arch in the shoe sole would have been nice. I did not take a star for this as others may not mind this, so I am just putting it out there for information. I have clear plastic stick on arches that i wear with these so I can wear them for longer periods of time.

Pretty platform shoes that go with everything!
These platform sandals go with absolutely everything. Jeans, dresses, shorts, skirts, etc. Casual, dressy. How many shoes can do that? This one. I am a shorty ( 5’3) so I like the height it gives me. Pleasantly surprised at how comfortable my feet feel. I don’t feel any pinching. Shoes not too tight or too loose . will I be walking miles in these shoes, no, but a walk to the coffee shop.
