I requested this item for my wife's evaluation. Her comments: "I ordered these shoes in a 7.5 which is my usual. Since this is a heavier shoe I thought maybe a thin pair of socks would work nicely. Just to slide a bare foot into these shoes, my heel slightly rested on the heel guard which means it would fold over and no longer have the guard. Still I didn’t think that would be a problem; however, the toes pinch and it was not a comfortable shoe for me. I think someone younger than me who does not need as much support would love this clog. If it had been available in a size 8, it would have fit better. The sole of the shoe is quite sturdy and has enough groves to keep your feet from slipping. I’d recommend it but I think it is not a “true” fit."
