I just ADORE the style of loafers on women! These in particular are super nice quality! Lucky brand literally always delivers and this shoe is no different! It has a snakeskin feel and just looks so polished! You can pair these with a ton of different outfits since they are simple and stylish! Highly recommend!
The snakeskin pattern gives these loafers a fun '70s vibe. It's a shiny, textured pattern, but still real leather. The soles are stacked brown rubber, with a clover logo on each heel. The shoes aren't too tall, maybe 1.5", so not totally flat, either. Unfortunately, these seem to run large, and I will need to add insoles to make these wearable. I usually wear a US Women's 8.5, and these are too loose and long in an 8.5. Interestingly, the European size given on the box was 39.5, and I am used to an 8.5 being equivalent to a 39, so that could be where a sizing mixup occurred.
This shoe runs a bit big. I’d size down 1/2 a size.
I believe that coming from a well-known brand, I had much higher expectations. These loafers are quite uncomfortable and rigid. The size runs on the large side. Although the look is lovely, the comfort is lacking. I feel that the sides and back are not very high, thus my foot wants to slide out. There is poor stitching, and there is no inner support. For the price and quality, I would skip this one.
I LOVE blue - my favorite color and probably the color of a good 40% of my wardrobe. I really wanted a pair of blue loafers to wear with jeans and a sweater so I chose these. They are much more comfortable than I expected and I do like them - but they are an extra shiny blue. I will wear them...maybe to scuff them up/take some of the shine off. Great brand and great shoe.
