Rugged Comfort for the Trail and Tiki Bar Alike
The LUODENGLANG Men’s Sandals in brown strike a nice balance between laid-back beach vibes and outdoorsy functionality. The faux leather upper gives off a stylish, semi-dressy look that doesn’t scream “dad flip-flop,” while the cushy insole and textured grip make them suitable for casual hikes or wet boardwalks. The fit is true to size, and they hold up well in water without feeling soggy.Only gripe? The break-in period—those first few wears might feel like your feet are negotiating peace treaties with the straps. But once they soften, it’s smooth sailing. Great bang for your buck if you're after a sandal that’s just as ready for a BBQ as it is for a tidepool trek.

Not the comfiest but the rear strap does work to hold them better for me over normal flops.
The rear strap thing is OK for me, it holds a little better than normal flip-flops for more active motion.I was hoping these would be good for hiking or more off-road oriented flop activity but they're not really comfy in the toe strap or heel to be that great for extended use.The sole and support material are all expected quality, and the sizing is right, but the strap design and materials just aren't comfy enough for me to give these more than 3 stars. For the value, and considering they aren't that comfy, I'll give them 3 stars.I've worn them a few times and they've worked a bit more snug and secure than regular flops, so they rear strap does work as intended and you may find them comfier than I did.

They broke on me with a plastic ring, and the Velcro strap go into
Very disappointed another pair of sandals I’ve gotten from Amazon and didn’t realize the straps were attached by a plastic piece. Thankful for this and it happened like my last pair I had like this happen from a different brand but the same exact problem. Just walking along the strap where the plastic attaches to the strap itself where the Velcro is just broke as I was walking. Thankfully, it wasn’t like the last pair I had with a plastic piece by the Velcro strap that made me fall down a flight of stairs. What is the second time I’ve had a pair that had that plastic ring that holds the Velcro together that has broken. While I was walking, I don’t know why they use a plastic ring there. Maybe I’m putting them onto tight. I don’t know, but I won’t bother you again and from now on I will always look for shoes that don’t have that plastic ring.

Comfortable
Very comfortable sandals. I enjoy the style. They are durable and well made. They fit true to size. The Velcro on the back is strong and won’t come apart. I enjoy these sandals

Runs Small and Not Comfortable for Long Wear
These sandals are okay depending on what you're looking for, they style and color is decent but they run smaller than expected. My husband's heel hangs off the back, which definitely isn’t ideal, got these in a size 12 and these are more like a 11 or 11 1/2. They might be fine to throw on quickly for going into the yard or something casual around the house, but I wouldn’t recommend them for extended wear or going out. Not comfortable enough and the sizing is off not very good quality.

Comfortable Soles, Not so Comfortable Straps
These are a nice sandal that are light with a good sole. They were easy to strap on and feel comfortable to my feet. However, the toe strap is a bit snug compared to other sandals. I adjusted the back strap to lessen the tightness and it didn't work as I wanted. Perhaps with time they will stretch a bit but I don't know that I want to break them if the pain continues. I wear a size 12 so maybe go a half size up.

Good quality, nice materials, not a great fit.
First, the good.I love the look of the sandals. The material is comfortable (smooth & soft against your skin), and the shoes themselves seem to be very well made. Now, the bad: The toe thong is about a half inch too far back toward the center, basically pushing your heel off the back of the shoe while still having a good inch or so left in front of your toes. It's possible they just need to be worn to stretch/loosen, but it makes them so uncomfortable to wear/walk in I'm not sure I'll ever make it to that point.
