These boots are awesome! They are definitely wide calf - so if you're mid-plus size they will probably fit you perfectly. If you are on the heavier plus size side, I'd make sure you measure your calf very well. I bought these wearing a size 14 with thicker legs. I was about 180lbs and 5'3". They fit really good when I first bought them. However, I'm now a size 10/12, 160lbs, and they are pretty loose in the legs, but they still stay up nicely. They are great quality for the money. Soft, vivid black, easy to wear and dress up everything without being too dressy!

Boots are beautiful. However, they are not wide enough on the calf. Neither my oldest daughter or I could zip them up all the way (made it almost half way). So my youngest daughter (who is very thin) took them. They fit her fine. But the point was they were supposed to be extra wide. Not fit a 120 pound tiny calf person.
