Size women’s 11 extra wide is well-made
Women’s sandal size11 extra wide fits like a size 12 medium. Yes, I need a fresh pedicure :-) These sandals make me excited about getting one!!!You need to know:There is about an extra inch of play in the thing area making the front of the sandal very loose - which is great for thick toes.My foot is long and wide, not thick. I am modifying this sandal to fit without flopping in between the toes.This feels like a durable sandal suitable for many occasions.A sandy beach will scratch the paint, but these would make a gorgeous beach wedding photo day or night. Bridesmaids would thank you.Pros*** Sparkles nicely.*** Space for larger ankles.*** Space for larger toes.Cons*** No arch support. I purchased arch support which you will see in the photos.*** Thick thong between toes which has its pros and cons. I don’t think the thong with break easily but it’s hard too.The reason I made this purchase and will keep these sandals:I usually wear Indian attire when visiting in-laws from Gujarat India. I am tall at 5’7 1/2” with long feet that I inherited from my mother. I’ve had ankle surgery so my ankle swells as the day becomes night. I also go on cruises and like to dress for formal night. These sandals can be dressed up for a special occasion. or with jeans and a Tshirt. The back of my ankle gets an Achilles tendon flareup when a strap is too tight across the back. The foot with ankle surgery also has a Morton’s neuroma. So you see my situation: I think I can modify this sandal so the thick thong between the toes is softer and doesn’t have that extra inch of play.
