Comfortable. Stretchy but snug ankle strap

Usually a 6.5 and comfortable fit in a 6.5 here. Having thicker ankles and big calves, I was concerned for the ankle strap, but it's not as bad as I thought. I love the color and they are comfortable for the heel and platform. They do click some when waking. The way the ankle strap secures the shoes to your foot, it's almost like a mule or typical sandal would move as you walk. The straps are stretchy and a thick material.

Light and not sturdy like I'm used to

I wear a lot of Steve Madden shoes. In an effort to replace the leather black version of this for women, I failed in purchasing these. The base is light foam of some sort versus heavy rubber And the straps fit loosely around the foot and ankle. Elastic strapping is a nonstarter for shoes like this. The lack of stability means a turned ankle is around the corner. If my original shoe had not been discontinued, I would purchase 10 of those! Maybe the shoe is better for a teenager?

Great shoe, inconsistent straps

I have very narrow feet and am always worried about non-adjustable straps. I bought two pairs of this shoe: the tan in size 7, and white in size 7.5. Oddly, the straps across the foot in the tan one were stretched out compared to the white one. The lengths of both were almost identical. Maybe someone tried them before me and stretched the straps a bit. I’m keeping the white 7.5 and returning the tan 7 because my foot is very insecure with the stretched straps. Overall, I absolutely love this shoe, but would recommend buying a couple pairs/sizes in case you experience what I did.
