Bought these for my mom for Christmas. She loves them! The ankle hits at just the right spot and you can wear them with skinny or regular jeans. The fit is true to size and the soles have a great tread on them. The material is high-quality and definitely OK in winter weather.
I was really disappointed with these boots. I ordered them for my kid sister who wears a size 9. For fun, I tried them on. I wear a size 8 1/2 and could not even get my foot into the boot. The shaft is way too narrow. Very poorly designed.
I love these boots so much and wanted desperately to keep them, but they were so narrow that I couldn't even put them on unless I was wearing certain socks. I couldn't risk them being too painful to wear for a day at work, so I gave them up.
In my opinion, these shoes are super adorable just looking at them in the photo and in person. Also, unlike most other reviewers, I did not find them hard to pull on. If you just grab the back of the shaft and lever your foot in, they slip on just fine. I thought the quality was very nice, Steve Madden always does a good job in my opinion.My main problem was when I put them ON. They fit fine, true to size. (I wear a 7). But, they looked strange on my relatively short silhouette: 5'4" and 130 lbs. Due to the low-cut ruched front (which again, super cute OFF my foot), my skinny jeans did not know whether to go over or inside of the shoes. So, I tried them with skirts and shorts. Maybe because they are flats, but these boots cut off my leg in such a way that managed to make me look kind of stumpy and wide in the hips. As a petite person, I need shoes to lengthen my silhouette, not shorten it further. I tried really hard to like them, but they just didn't look good on me. Maybe for someone taller!
I really liked the boots but a person with a high instep cannot get them on. It would be nice if it would have had a zipper on the back of the boot.
I surprised my daughter with these boots.She loves the fact that they don't havehuge heels, and that she'll be able towear them with out killing her feet.
So stinking adorable! But you can't get your foot in them. They need a zipper or to be more stretchy! I was sad to send these back!
