Good Fit Out of the Box
The shoes came with the correct size and is a good fit. They were originally pretty stiff, but are much better now after breaking them in. They look good. but as other's have said, they are made of synthetic leather and in my opinion have kind of a plastic look to them. The quality is good with ridged rubbber soles. I thought they were kind of expensive, but then again I haven't purchased these type of shoes in a while. A family member told me that if they were real leather, they would have been a lot more expensive. For what the shoes are I would recommend the purchase.

Great Step In Shoe
For people (like me) that have physical and/or medical issues that makes it difficult to bend over to put shoes on, or even to just tie shoes, these shoes make that process so much easier! I have been wearing similar "step in" shoes from another manufacturer (Kizix) that has stopped making leather shoes that are more stylish and business like, similar to this. I haven't tried to polish them yet, but I assume that they will shine up just fine - and they look good now, with a great finish. The sole of the shoe is a solid rubber and I don't slip when I am wearing these, and I am quite impressed by their quality. I look forward to getting another style soon.

Comfortable Slip-On Shoes with a Few Drawbacks
I have slightly mixed feelings about these shoes. While I was expecting a slightly higher quality leather and feel, they are still very comfortable overall. I ordered a size 14, and my only real complaint is that the toe box is a bit narrower than I prefer.One great feature is the hands-free slip-on design. The back of the shoe has added rigidity, which helps prevent it from collapsing when putting them on hands free. This is my first pair of Marc Joseph shoes, and while they are made in China, the quality seems decent. One thing to note: these shoes expose more of your socks compared to other styles, which is likely to accommodate the slip-on design—so make sure you have some fun socks!The only real downside I’ve noticed is that the rigid heel, while great for easy slip on, can rub against the Achilles area when walking a lot. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but something to consider if you have sensitivity in that area or know you have a long walk.Overall, a comfortable and stylish slip-on shoe with a couple of minor drawbacks.

These shoes ARE NOT LEATHER as advertised!
I own 4 pair of Marc Joseph shoes. All were Amazon advertised as Leather uppers and received as such. Made in Brazil out of real leather. Good quality shoes and a fair price. My recent purchases of 2 pair of Marc Jospeh shoes are Amazon advertised as" Leather Uppers". They are NOT leather and I sent them back to Amazon. Made in China. To me this is a bait and switch. Product descriptions should be honest and complete and reveal origin. My previous purchases stated "Made in Brazil" and "Leather Uppers." Since they were Marc Joseph, I thought these 2 recent pair were creditably described so I ordered based on my prior satisfied experience. Shame on me. Marc Joseph has lost a loyal customer.
