It’s the little things
The patent shoes are lovely when viewed from afar, as most shoes are. The shoes are shiny and the fabric feels like a Target shoe; not luxurious and not cheap feeling. The heel is comfortable and the double strap allows for further adjustment for different foot widths.I don’t like how the edges are finished, or rather, not finished. There isn’t any seal or paint on the exposed ends of the straps which causes the shoe to look less finished. Once you see these finishes not completed the visual appeal of the shoe goes down significantly.Overall the shoes are comfortable and stylish. I would have liked to have seen more finishes on the shoe.

Cute, comfy, and unique!
I have only owned maybe one other pair of red shoes in my life, so this was kind of an adventurous order for me, haha. I chose the red because I wanted something a little bit different. I think these will not only work well for a pop of color with a basic outfit at work, but they'll be festive at the holidays.I am between a 9 and 10 and I ordered a 9. I miiiight have needed to size up. I don't know, I don't like my heel to be sitting too far away from the edge of the shoe and in that respect these fit great. My only concern is the toe box. You can see my toes kind of bunched up underneath it. I don't have "problem toes" beyond the kind of normal wear and tear that most of us have by middle age, but if you have any kind of foot issue, you'll likely want to size up. You might even want to skip these altogether because the toe box is not that roomy.On the positive side, the height of the heel won't force the foot down into the toe box far, so that's a good "foot friendly" feature! Overall these feel very comfy. I'm mildly concerned about how hard I have to pull to buckle them -- hoping the elastic on the straps wears well and doesn't get worn out too easily. I wish the buckle were just a tiny bit longer, though, so I didn't have to tug as hard! I know from past experience that not all shoe strap elastic is made for a long-term job. But, fingers crossed.Worth noting: these shoes also arrive with little foot pads, which is a nice touch! I couldn't possibly fit them into the shoes with them fitting this snugly, but I'm sure I will find a use for them in another pair and I am always impressed when the seller adds a little extra "oomph."Also worth noting: if you're sensitive to weird smells, you may not like the strange chemical odor coming off these shoes straight out of the box. I can't recall the last time I bought shoes that had a patent look though, so maybe that's how they all smell? I just know there is a pretty strong plastic-y kind of smell. It doesn't bother me, but it's noticeable.Overall, I'm quite happy with these and can't wait to show 'em off!

Unbelievably Comfortable and So Cute
I got these shoes because Mary Jane’s are one of my favorite shoe styles and I am so glad I did! I am not a huge fan of black patent leather, but since they were through Vine I figured I would take them up on the offer. They came individually wrapped in cloth bags and they also included a small gel insert. The insert was easy to put in the shoes and did make them feel cushioned, but it also made them feel a little more snug. I have pretty narrow feet, but it might be more uncomfortable if for wider feet. They are so comfortable to stand and walk around in. They seem well made, stylish and I feel the price they are selling these for make a them a great deal.

My favorite red shoes…. Now
Red patent shoesThese shoes are real nice. The color is like a true red and they are shiny like a red patent shoe. The inside sole has a soft padding covered with a soft leather feeling material. They also provide an insert to make the fit even better if you need it. The heel is wider and high but not too high; the kind you can solidly walk all day in and your feet feel just fine. I ordered the size I always order and these were true to size. The 3 straps on the shoe all have a buckle that can be adjusted so you can make them tighter or looser. If you get the length right, the straps will customize the rest of the fit. I think the straps also add a lot to the overall look. These can be worn to work, church or with jeans. They look good, fit good and priced right so why wouldn’t you buy them?
