The most comfy, easy to wear slipper

LIked: The colour ( purple), and shape. I bough geta before, and the heels are too high making them look, well, trashy. These are flatter yet still have a tiny lift and the shape is PEFECT. They look so classic and classy with shorts, jeans, skirts. The wood is not so thick that it looks dum wearing shorts and these together ( I'm big on styling).The wood makes a delightful clackity clack on the floor. Pleasing and bamboo-ey. Calms me.They're lightweight even in a jungle, they're cooling.The square shape is ideal. If traditional Japanes styling is important to you and you like the more boxy men'sstyles for geta - these are for you.COlour is perfect. It's hard to find purple that isn't super dark or too light. THese SHINE. I've had a ton of compliments.MOSTLY - it's the height of the soles. PErfect. I bought two other pairs from a different vendor and they're comfy, but too high-heel-like. I don't like massive thick soles on geta unless you're wearing full yukata or kimono. IT just looks trashy. These look classy as flip flops.DIslikes - the wood is a little shiny on the upper part. It the wood was not varnished, it could make grip a little better. If you wear these in the rain, or damp, you might slip. If you wear these with socks, the socks might slip. So wear those rubber dot tabi socks.WHY'D I BUY THESE? TO wear instead of flip flops. I lived in Jp 7 years and only wear geta or zori now. THey're so comfy. I don't understand anyone who'd only buy these for a costume. THese are actual surippa!

Not walkable with socks

The size for these shoes were accurate, and they were surprisingly comfortable; however, if you are wearing tabi socks, the glossy finish on the shoes will cause the shoes to slip with each step. I ended up not being able to use mine because I couldn't take 3 steps without losing the shoe.
