They're thin, but they're comfy and more durable than a cheap shoe has any business being.
***Updated***Upgraded this review yet again from 3 to 5 stars ,since this $30 shoe, despite feeling rather flimsy, is quite durable and holds up incredibly well in both structure and appearance. Not only do they look great, they're also very light and comfortable. Even after getting them completely soaked in the rain numerous times, the finish held up. I've worn them abusively for 5 months in all terrain and weather conditions with no significant degradation. The seams, soles, and finish are still intact. I'm literally bewildered by this durability. I can admit when i've been wrong. These shoes are absolutely worth the price. They've outlasted shoes I own that are three or four times the cost. The price has risen a bit, like everything else, but no way will you regret spending $30-40 on these. Just buy them.**************************************************This shoe appears better made in its photos and description than it actually is. They arrived in just a plastic bag without even inserts. The upper material, PU(polyurethane, NOT leather), is just too thin for my liking. You get the sense that your toes will soon pop right through this upper. The finish on the upper when up close, looks cheap and Its durability is highly questionable. So, the good? The rubber soles are very light, and the shoe is true to size and fits well. The cut and shape of the shoe is also aesthetically pleasing. But that is where it ends. Why does the seller claim 100% leather in the description and then a few lines down also say it is made with PU? I was mislead to think that i was buying an all-leather shoe, and as a result paid more than i should have for it. Somewhere around $24 shipped would have been a fair price. There are better quality shoes at the $30 price I paid. I probably won't bother returning them since I am just $6 shy of the price i would actually pay for them. Judging by the thickness, or lack thereof, these will not last long. Buy at your own risk.
