These shoes came packed in plastic bag with paper stuffed in the toes to help keep the shape. The material feels like a leatherette on the toes and a cloth foam backed material on the sides and tongue. This gives the shoes a bit of give and movement when wearing. The felt soles were nicely adhered to the shoe as is the heal. They are very comfortable to wear while dancing. The biggest drawback is that I usually wear a 10.5 size and that is what I ordered. I can see the shape of my big toe in each shoe while I wear them. Not a problem but more of a styling issue. I'm not sure if ordering the next half or whole size larger would help with this but it didn't make dancing in them a problem. Good stuff!

These Dance Shoes fit right and seem to be great value for the price. I recommend for someone who’s new to dancing but not ready to splurge on expensive shoes.Put them to use right out of the package with my Wife and Daughters no discomfort after wearing for an hour.The durability seems good, been using them for a couple months no problems. Right foot was a bit tight for me (I wear wide & the right is bigger) but it stretched easily.

Starting some Tango lessons with my wife, thought I'd surprise her with these elegant-looking but inexpensive dancing shoes. They have a felt sole, and look very nice. I normally wear a wide shoe, but was pleased to see that my feet did fit in these, although the right foot (which is a bit bigger) was uncomfortably tight at the widest part.I have a foot stretcher that normally needs to be used for 24 to 48 hours on standard shoes. I gave it 24 hours and it seemed to work.
