Sole separated after very little wear
Seems to run small. Was tight for a wide box. Teturned
These barefoot shoes are surprisingly solid for the price, especially if you’re new to the whole zero-drop, wide-toe-box lifestyle and don’t want to commit half your rent to try it out. They look pretty unassuming — no weird toe pockets or flashy colors — which I appreciate when I’m just grabbing groceries or doing deadlifts in my garage. The wide toe box gives your feet room to spread naturally, which instantly feels better than being crammed into traditional sneakers. The sole is thin and flexible, just enough to protect your foot while still letting you feel the ground — which is kind of the point. That said, you will feel every rock and sidewalk seam. If you're used to thick, foamy running shoes, there’s a definite adjustment period. Don’t jump into a 5K unless you want to make friends with your shin splints. For gym use — especially lifting, rowing, or anything where stability matters — these are excellent. The flat heel and ground contact make for a super stable base. Walking around in them is comfortable too, once your feet adjust to doing more of the work. Breathability is decent, and the material feels more durable than I expected for this price point. Just don’t expect premium support or long-distance comfort — they’re minimalist by design.A few quirks: the laces are a little too short for my taste, and while the tread grips well indoors, I wouldn’t take these on wet trails or steep gravel without backup. But for general use — errands, weightlifting, casual walks — they’re more than capable.Final verdict: Not perfect, but absolutely worth it if you’re testing the barefoot waters. These give you a ton of natural foot freedom at a fraction of the cost of the big-name brands. Just ease into them slowly, and your feet will thank you.
Plenty of room for the toes which I love. The sizing seems pretty accurate to other name brand US shoes. I like the desig and color choices, they look somewhat casual classy, perfect for some summer leisure. The sole is similar to other minimalist shoes I've tried, there is minimal to no cushioning, that is generally by design on these types. Personally I found walking long distances on asphalt to not be super comfortable, but some prefer it. They should be fine if walking on grass or sand, or perhaps for use in a gym with padded floors.
