Very nice shoes made from real leather; runs half size small
I normally wear a size 11 or 11W in mens and I ordered size 11. These shoes fit much more like a 10.5 as they are narrow on my feet and tight in the toe as well. They fit me okay as long as I don't wear socks but I doubt I could wear anything other than the thinnest possible dress socks I own, I didn't even try to wear socks with these.The packaging of the shoes was done very well to prevent damage to the shoe in shipping and the outer leather is soft and beautiful. Overall these shoes look very nice but I wish they were more of a pointy shoe in design because the wide toe and platform look make them look slightly like clown shoes but I wouldn't say they are unfashionable and the wide toe definitely make them more comfortable.The shoe was put together in 3 layers with a soft leather top, some kind of light wood mid-sole or maybe hard plastic and then a rubber platform bottom. The rubber seems high quality and provinces lots of traction as well as there is lots of room for water or whatever so you feel should not slip easily with these shoes. My main concern with these shoes is while the rest of the shoe seems really nice and high quality they have the cheapest possible insole and it came damaged to boot (no pun intended).I tried walking with the stock insoles and they were not very comfortable so I replaced with them cheap memory foam ones from china and even crappy discount insoles were better than the stock ones. If you normally wear vans or shoes without support I don't think you will care but if you need support you will need to replace the insoles. Because it hard a hard mid-sole there is no cushioning even thought they have a rubber bottom.For the price the quality of these shoes is excellent, I wish the felt more like doc martins walking in them but I guess you can't have everything in shoes at this price. Overall I am highly satisfied by these shoes. Oh, and it comes with two fabric stickers that I assume are supposed to be placed at the bottom as the brand of the shoes? I would just throw them away or place them on whatever you put all your random stickers.

Not comfortable
I needed these shoes for a wedding where I'd need to dress up. Unfortunately, the comfort level was severely lacking, and the shoes just looked/felt clunky.

they look better on my feet than they did in the picture
These took almost two weeks to arrive, and that's the only complaint I have. They look nice, classy, they're clearly platforms but they manage to not be ostentatious; to me, they look like a fashion choice more than someone wanting to look taller. They're a bit narrow, but not so much that they won't break in. Oh, and they come with heel inserts, pads to help prevent blisters, in case someone is planning on walking a lot in them. Personally, I'm going to wear them to social events where I want to look like I'm wearing a cross between combat boots and dress shoes. But I do expect I'll be wearing them a lot. Might even try to pull them off with a suit.

I’m up dating the review. I let them sit out on my front porch for over a week and the smell has passed. The shoe needs to be worn several times before they break in and get some comfort.These platform chunky shoes have such a strong diesel smell. It really filled the air in my home. I have them out on the front porch to air out and my front porch smells like diesel oil. They come with a padding to wear fit the heal, even trying them on with the padding I could feel the friction and a blister would be forming in no time. They look just as pictured, the style is what I liked. I have no idea what stench is reaking from them.
