Good looking Goth boots, Concerned about durability

These boots definitely have a more Goth leaning style to them. The buckles across the top and the side zipper combined with the platform sole make them great for going out in.The fit is true to size, and even my partner's wide feet were comfortable in them, size wise, although we also put in an additional insole since it really didn't feel cushioned enough to his liking.The platform sole itself adds just over an inch in height, and thankfully, the soles do have some flex to them.Here's my concerns:While I don't expect the same level of durability out of these as I would a pair of genuine leather boots, I do have some concerns about how durable these will really be after repeated wear.The fake leather these are made of is definitely on the lower end scale, especially the straps, which I can see being the first things to fail/break/show wear easily. I'm also concerned that due to the faux leather, if these take any kind of significant wear, or scuffs, the leather will start to peel and/or wear away on the areas that get friction. I've seen it happen on other faux leather boots, and judging by the feel of these, I can see this might be a concern. I may end up clear coating these with a product rated for leather and faux leather to see if I can extend the life of these before the inevitable happens, but that's more work than I was initially prepared to do when I ordered these.Due to that, I feel like these boots could be priced a bit lower. At the time of this review, these were selling for 69.99, and I feel like shaving $20 off that price is more in line with the quality of these boots.

Don't do it

The quality of this boot is the worse I've ever seen. The ankle part on one of the boots were sewn bad so it constantly rubs on the back. The leather is subpar and it squeaks when you walk in them. The cosmetic straps on these look and feel like the cheapest things ever created.Find some other boots to purchase. Pass on these!

The product title says leather, and further down in the listing it does say fake leather - and they are not leather. That said, they are comfortable, fit well, and look good on! I’m also a woman and they look fine on me (just make sure you choose the correct size as the sizes listed are men’s sizes).

Size runs smaller, poor quality materials. There was an eyelet already missing when I received them. Was a bit disappointed.
