I'm not diabetic but I have swollen feet from neuropathy. These are the first sandals I've found that go on easily and stay on. Open the flaps, put your foot in, close the straps. That's it. When they are new, you may have to pin the straps back to position your foot but after they have been worn, the straps get limper and will stay open. They are long enough to protect toes, too. All in all, a good design.
A proper fit. Have only wore them once so far and they seem comfortable and easy to use.
Used because of edema at the top of my foot. Fit well and comfortable. But had to make sure you raise foot while walking because it can slide off base of foot when you have drop foot.
I am an older woman with foot edema, and diabetes.I've been having an issue with my big toe and needed the open toe.I wear a women's size 11.5. Hard to find.This man's size 10 fits perfectly. Would be perfect if it came in a medium or narrow width.The soles would be okay for short trips outside.I don't know how long they will hold up.Of course very easy to put on and take off. They stay fastened. My cat loves them and "wears" them when I take them off.
These shoes are ugly, but worse they arent any easier for a person to put on or walk in really.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These seem nice so far as the ankle strap adds reassurance of them not falling off. My dad bought me a pair that were just slip-in ones through the toes, with no ankle strap, and they just kept slipping off. They are quite comfortable and I wear them even out on my concrete patio at night when I'm relaxing. I just hope I'm not beating them up too much heh.
