These boots are well made, and very comfortable to walk in even when new. I got the brown style. They look quite nice, and are fine for casual, biz casual, and events that call for a sport coat. The sole is great for surfaces ranging from pavement to carpet, and appears durable. The stitching is perfect throughout the pair. The ankle height is great for me and provides comfortable support without chafing. I used the size chart and ordered a size 10 and the fit is excellent, close enough but roomy enough. I expect years of service from these shoes.
