Great supporting shoes
We call these the "Old Man Gandalf shoes". They look like the type to carry you on your trek as Ole faithful and ever lasting. Got them for my 15 yr old to give him another option rather than his slippers all the time. Super comfy, they envelope his whoel foot, providing him more protection. He has super wide feet and these do not cause the toes to be scrunched up inside. The strap at the back make these shoes much more secure for him to wear around doing errands. Cheap looking
These are ok for a kid. I got then for my 14 year old and they look fine on him, but I would not let my husband wear these as a fulnfrown man because they look too cheap. I seen it says genuine leather but they look fake as heck.

Surprisingly Comfortable and Well-Made
The sizing for these is spot-on; I take an 11 usually, that's what I ordered, and they fit perfectly.These sandals have many features that the ad doesn't do justice to. First off, the leather's supple and well-tanned. That leather upper is very securely affixed to the soul with thick thread using some kind of strong stitch reminiscent of fishing. I guess that makes sense since they're called fisherman's sandals...The next thing I really like, and that you can't really appreciate without walking in them, is (a) how well-cushioned the insole is, (b) how impact-blocking the thick outer sole is, and (c) how comfortable all the parts work together to make these the most easy-to-wear sandals I've ever had. The weight's just right, too -- not too light or cheap feeling, not so heavy they change your stride or require any subtle muscle adjustments in the way you move along. Ideal.I've included a photo with me wearing them, one foot without a sock, and the other foot showing that these even look good with black socks. Personally, I'd avoid white socks with sandals unless you're going for the dork look.No cause for any deductions at all, even the price is quite fair, in view of their appeal on the foot and the quality. I like easy decisions: 5 stars.

GOOD LOOKING AND COMFORTABLE
These sandals are actually nicer than I expected. Good looking and comfortable too.They arrived flattened in their packaging, so they look a bit wrinkled in the photos, but I suspect the wrinkles will disappear as I continue to wear them.They appear to be nicely made with tight and evenly placed stitching. Not much in the way of arch support, but still very comfortable. Both the uppers and sole are soft, so they flex with your foot, adding to the comfort.The soles are nice and “grippy” and the adjustable Velcro closures allow them to be adjusted for a nice secure fit, both of which are important if worn for hiking. Along with being soft and flexible, the soles may be a bit on the thin side, so I’m just not sure how they’re going to feel if hiking on rough and rocky terrain.Hiking is not their sole (pardon the pun) purpose though, and I intend to wear them for everyday casual purposes, plus I think they would look good with a nice pair of casual pants.No negatives here. In my opinion, shoes should be good looking and comfortable and these sandals certainly are both.I should add that they appear to run true to size.
