I bought this as a birthday present for my brother since he was already a big fan of the muck boots for gardening. I figured since he had a pair for outside/gardening he could use a nice casual/dress pair for work or an everyday boot. He LOVED these boots - he said they are very comfortable and likes that they can be dressed up or down. I would definitely recommend as these are great for the fall and winter.
Great boot! I use it as an everyday boot for a cold and wet midwest fall/winter. It does look more rugged, so its not really a casual office boot but its great to slip on and run errands or do chores around the house.Fit is perfect for me. Depending on brand im a 9.5 or 10 and the 10 fits me perfectly.I do recommend this boot.
I found Muck several years ago when I purchased their Muckster waterproof rubber garden shoes. They did what I expected and have held up well over the years. But, for whatever reason, I forgot all about Muck as a footwear manufacturer and never did follow up on another acquisition. Until now.I first discovered and purchased the Muck Freeman boots, and was so pleased with the quality of construction and overall serviceable build of those boots that I went on to purchase these Muck Chelsea boots and anxiously awaited their arrival.The Chelsea boots, like the Freeman and Mucksters before them, visually impress. The stitching holding the sole to the shank is precise, sturdy, and evenly distributed. Nothing about the appearance of these Chelsea boots was misrepresented or disappointing.The interior is completely lined with a soft material and it, too, is stitched securely. I don't anticipate any issues with the sole or lining separating from the boot.The exterior of the Chelsea boot is also well attached where it's supposed to be and I believe it will hold up in all conditions for several years.The fit is slightly large, but I wouldn't go a half size smaller because the size I have slips on and off so perfectly. With the right size socks, my feet don't move around at all inside the boots and don't sweat even when I've had them on all day.The only reason (so far) for the four stars is I haven't battle tested them in rainy or adverse conditions yet. So I can't speak to how well they'll do when challenged by splishing and splashing. That will happen in the weeks ahead, for sure!For now, all three Muck boots I've purchased, the Mucksters, the Freemans, and now the Chelsea are splendid additions to my options of what to put on in any weather or casual get together.Thanks, Muck.
Good looking. They feel well insulated, and have a high enough ankle for snow. I am very pleased with the purchase, the slip-on style was a must for easy on/off during a wet season. I was totally fed up with lasing up and down my boots when I had to shovel or come into a home.
Love these boots! They are light weight and easy to get on and off. Perfect.
Love the look of the boot. It’s stylish. The Leather and construction is quality. However, boot lacks quality midsole with good support. It appears to be synthetic material, the midsole is far to flexible and non supportive after a couple hours in the boot.Muck could make this a really nice boot with improved midsole construction and better support
