Attractive well built imitation leather. Comfortable for most occasions but it looks nice enough to wear to work. They have a chunky heel that rises your height and fits comfortably. These are useful for walking around longer distances than most dress shoes.
I recently purchased these shoes for my husband, and we are both quite pleased with their appearance and quality, particularly considering the price. This particular style complements both formal business attire and a more casual outfit of jeans and a t-shirt. The insoles are notably comfortable, providing a good amount of cushioning and support.The only minor issue is that the back of the shoe is somewhat stiff and will require some breaking in. It would be wise to take precautions to avoid blisters on the heel until the shoes have been properly worn in.
Its used
These men's dress shoes are very well made. The material of the upper is soft and pliable. The size fits, but they are just ab it too long for my foot. I followed the Amazon suggestion of size 8, but I should have gotten the 7 instead. No points off for me not following my gut though, and they come with a nice foam insert for the front of the shoe that I can cut down to make the toe fill out and make the fit better. They are not too big by much and will still work fine. They feel good on and may not need a break-in period. The color is nice, the shine is high and the sole is a nice height to add just a touch of lift but not be a platform. I won't wear dress shoes often, so these should last me for a long time to come.
Leather quality:The leather is shiny/plasticky. The top fells like synthetic/elastic leather-like foam.Shoe quality:Durable build for the bottom platform. The shoe might not age well, time will tell.Style:The red is almost awkwardly blended into the shoe, would work well with certain outfits but not most. Seems more of red sections than the expected red undertone.Fit:Fits true to size. Looks bulky but is actually light weight. It does look good on the feet. The sole is very grippy so walking is very easy in these shoes.Arrives in a plastic, string-tie bag. See photo.
These are good-looking, slightly understated Oxfords. While described as platforms, they feel on the shorter end of platforms. They’re easy to walk in and offer comfortable cushioning. The burnished leather on my pair has a subtle, refined finish, which seems to vary from pair to pair. I styled them with linen pants for a polished look. I may swap out the laces for burgundy ones to give them a bit more personality.
I sold cars years ago and I wish I had had these shoes then. Having my suit shoes tore up on the pavement was a real irritant. These look great though I can't speak to how they'll hold up with use. The quality seems a little lower than I'd like. I ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. The are heavier then other dress shoes but that's because of the soles I'm sure. So it does take a bit to get used to them. However I wouldn't use these to replace my normal shoes under normal conditions.
