I did not realize exactly how thick the soles were going to be. They are stricking dress shoes for men and give said man at least another inch in height. Im not a fan of just how thick the bottoms are but my husband seems to love the shoes. He is 6'5 so these shoes bump him up to 6'7 easily. Just what he needed right??!?!?They are a creamy, coffee color and feel almost like a crocodile skin up top. The shoes slip on easily and sit snugly in his 12 foot frame. He says they are comfy and padded inside. They also come with a pair of dress socks but they are too small for the feet that will be going in those shoes.Overall, tested, approved and recommended

Beautiful but Smelly!
I think these shoes are so beautiful. I got them for myself. Feel like they look a little bit more feminine, with a touch of masculine. However, they're about a half a size too big for me. I wear between an 8 and 1/2 and a nine. So I got these in a seven. With socks on. They'll be fine. But they do fit in my opinion. More like a man's shoe with a little bit more fullness in just the general foot.Here are some photos of me wearing it. The angles aren't great, and it kind of makes my ankles look chubbier than they are, but I do have a thin foot, so maybe somebody who has maybe a heavier set fit would fit this just fine if they are a woman. As for comfort, I don't know that I'd say that they're the most comfortable shoe.I got another shoe similar to this one, but it was more comfortable. This doesn't seem to have as much padding underneath the heel, and that's kind of a must for me with foot issues.Of course I can try to insert something For comfort. The challenge for me is that it's about a half size too big, and again, that might be okay once I wear thicker socks, but it it won't work too well with thin socks.Despite the fact that they don't fit me as well as I'd like, I would have given these a five star. I am hoping that the seller will recognize the needs to make sure that these are being made and fresh air and not in a factory with cigarette smoke. I realize, however, that might be an impossibility if it's a country (or an area of a country)where there's a lot of cigarette smoke in the air. In that case, I'm not so sure how you would keep these from getting a smell.I will put these in the sun for several days and hope that improves the smell.They are really high quality. And there's attention to every little detail... Except for one.. there should never be smoking in the factory around the product! And this smells like cigarette smoke to me! And I do test that smell. For one I'm asthmatic, but for another, it's just not a pleasant odor. I know that people smoke is a way of coping and finding comfort when life is challenging, or just because it was introduced to them from a very young age, and from any other reasons... I'm not here to discuss smoking, but I have compassion for why people do it. It's just not a smell that I appreciate because I come from a family of non-smokers.Maybe it's a fluke that my shoes smell like cigarette smoke, or maybe it's not. I feel badly to leave this review because I know that people are doing their best to make a living, but I know that as a reviewer I have to give fair and honest reviews. Just know that these are incredibly beautiful shoes, and they are definitely a five-star fashion statement.I will find a reason to wear them just because I love their appearance so much. But I do think it's fair to inform you that the shoes I received smell like cigarette smoke. I know that there are things I might be able to spray on it, or some type of a powder I can put inside of it. It. But I will try the sun first.Actually, I just remembered that I can put them in a box with charcoal around them.. Not directly touching them. And the of closed. It can take some time. Days or maybe even weeks, but charcoal is notoriously good at removing odors. So if you get a pair of these shoes and they smell, you might give those a try. It may not work, but I'm pretty sure it will!

At first i thought the soles would be a bit smaller, but I'm shocked to see that they're the size of hiking boots. But theyre surprisingly comfortable. With these soles i can takes them on rougher passages and not worrying about them fallking apart. These soles are durable. Comfortable and durable
These are very comfortable shoes, and I really like the way they look.These shoes make a bold statement with their tall souls and beautiful brown leather. They go well with everything from casual to business casual.The quality is very nice. All the seams and areas glued together appear to be very strong. Durability on this footwear should be impressive.I like these and wear them often. I think it’s a great price. The value for the money is high. I highly recommend them.

For the price, I was expecting better quality
Let me start off by saying that these shoes aren't *bad* per se, but I feel like they're a little pricey for the quality of materials/construction.* The first thing you'll notice about these shoes is the smell. It was honestly sickening, a very strong odor of rubber (think: tire shop on a hot summer day). I had to take them out of the box and put them in my spare room to let them air out for a few days.* I haven't measured, but the shoes seem pretty narrow. If you have a wide foot, I'd probably suggest passing these up.* The soles feel sturdy and thick, if a bit stiff, but that's kind of par for the course with this style of sole. I think they would stand up to wear fairly well, but I'll have to update this review after I've put them through their paces (literally, lol).* The insole of these shoes leaves a lot to be desired. It's essentially a very thin foam/spongy kind of material that provides little to no cushion; I can literally feel the seams and stuff where the upper of the shoe attaches to the sole. If you prefer to wear thin or no socks, this may end up rubbing your foot raw. On top of just being uncomfortable, in shoes that have a rigid/stiff sole, you really want some extra cushion to help dampen the impact of standing and walking.-- Friendly reminder, these are made from synthetic materials (faux leather) and thus they will not stretch and form to the shape of your foot like real leather will. If you're dead set on getting these shoes, I recommend ordering a half-size larger and wearing some thicker socks with them. Otherwise, these would be awful to wear for anything longer or more strenuous than a dinner date.
