Dress Boot Reality Check: NOT for Motorcycles or Cowboys Despite the Name
Quick Take: Excellent fit for a nice zip-up boot that will dress up any outfit over tennis shoes or hiking boots. Not a cowboy boot nor a motorcycle boot, but more of a dress boot.What Works:True to size right out of the box. Faux leather right out of the box provides a great shine that doesn't require polishing.Great dress shoe for church or formal events where a tie might also be worn. Soft interior lining with a semi-cushioned insole.The side zippers are a great feature while a bit stiff out of the box, with a bit of boot cream, the zipper performs perfectly without sticking.The brown boot was ordered and will go well with all types of pant colors, even being able to dress up a pair of blue jeans when necessary.⚠️ Critical Reality Checks:Even as an avid motorcycle rider, these will NOT pass for a motorcycle boot as they do not have shifter-friendly features. Scuffing, cracking, and even initial wear would be visible before the end of the first ride ~ I will stick with my true motorcycle boots. Also, these are NOT cowboy boots and the materials will not allow you to jump into any saddle nor command a horse with the heels when placed in stirrups.Minor Note:Considering upgrading the insole to a more cushioned one for long days and dressy events.Bottom Line: Consider them a good pair of dress boots and you will go a long way with them. Nice, dressy boot for anyone
I ordered these boots for my son in a 10.5, and typically wears between a 10.5 and 11 in most shoes. They fit him perfectly. This boot is a very dressy, classy style of boot that pairs well with nice jeans, khakis, and some dress pants. These are not a casual style of boot that will look right with just any outfit. However, they look great, and look nice and sleek with the right clothing. My son has more shoes and boots now than I have ever owned in my life, as he likes to have a different style of shoe for every outfit he wears. These boots are one of the nicer looking pairs of footwear he now owns. There is a zipper on the side that gives them a slightly edgier look, but other than that, they are dressy foot wear. Fit was great - not too snug, but not loose. Plenty of room for a standard pair of socks. True to size in that regard. They’re definitely faux leather of course, but still, they look pretty decent. Wore them for an entire night of dancing non-stop at a wedding, and they held up nicely. A couple of scuffs at the end, but they came off much more easily than I’d have expected (which may have been more about what scuffed them than the boots themselves, but still). No major rubbing points that caused any discomfort throughout. Might’ve creased a tiny bit due to all of the dancing, but for me, that adds some character, so I’m all about it. Not sure if there’d be too much room for an insole if you needed that, but could possibly work for a thinner one, at least based on the fit around my feet specifically. Would recommend.

Very good-looking boots for dress or casual wear--they sure look like real leather to me!
These are very attractive and well-made boots--I couldn't tell they were faux leather! The stitching is quite neat and the soles were thick with very deep tread. They are just the style of boot my son will love--he is a trucker so he doesn't have to walk much in them but like to look sharp. I'm keeping for his birthday next year...I ordered size 10, which usually fits him, and I measured the dress shoes he usually wears--these boots measured the same so I'm pretty sure they are true to size. These are dressy and stylish, good enough to wear with a suit or just with jeans. Really nice--he is going to love them.
