Comfy, Tough, and Steady on Their Feet: Work Shoes That Earn Their Keep
I picked up these work shoes hoping for something comfy that could handle long hours on my feet, and they surprised me in all the right ways. When I first pulled them out of the box, I will admit the soles looked a little slick. I thought to myself, Lord help me if I go sliding across the kitchen like a newborn calf. These shoes are very grippy, and they add an additional 1.5 inches of height. I dont know if thats a good thing, but it thats if you would like. The material is breathable and doesnt soak in water easily. The shoe strings are kinda normal shoe strings, but they are definitely cheap, mine had a few defects in them, also i personally felt they are a bit too short, maybe another 2 inches longer or so would have been better. The shoes itself isnt too heavy, they are made well, and the insoles it came with are very comfortable.

Pretty impressive slip-on shoe!
I honestly didn't know what to expect, as this was my very first pair of slip-on shoes ever. The idea of a slip-on, in my mind, was that I wasn't going to have a tight grip around my ankle and it would slip in and out while walking. That simply wasn't the case with these KKB slip-ons. My heel stayed in the shoe and did not try to slip out while walking! I'm also a size 13, extra wide (EEEE) in my new balance shoes, so I was afraid these were going to be too narrow, but again, they feel great. So these shoes might just fit wider than normal, just so you know. The shoes feel great on my feet and and my arches. The side profile of these shoes look very similar in style to the hoka shoes I've seen. Also, these shoes maybe add another half inch or so to my height as well. I haven't tested the whether or not these are waterproof yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the internal humidity over time. My feet really sweat and end up making my socks and shoes smell horrible. In fact, I have a pair of sketchers soaking in a bucket of cleaner right now because they smell so bad! The non-slip bottom of the shoe has very good gripping. I noticed while wearing around the house, it especially grips good to carpet. In areas around my house where I would normally pivot my foot wearing regular shoes, I noticed these shoes almost to stick in place than pivot due to its grip! So this should also give you a good grip on hard surfaces as well!Overall, I'm pretty impressed! Good quality all the way around and at a very similar price point to just about any other shoe I've gotten. I consider these shoes a pretty decent value in my book and would definitely recommend!

Husband math that actually worked
My wife works in a hospital kitchen, and she comes home every day complaining about her feet. She slips on wet floors and her arches ache by the time she clocks out.
