These surprised me!
For what it's worth, I purchased these, solely to wear them one day of the week. That said, I did try my best to put these to the test. Your mileage may vary, but overall, I was pleased with the performance of these.Comfort: 8/10 starting with this because they advertise them as work shoes, and if you're needing non-slip work shoes, they NEED to be comfortable. I think these are very comfortable on initial wear, the sole has PLENTY of cushion and the claim of arch support is true. While these were extremely comfy at first, several hours in, I felt myself shifting and trying to find that initial feeling of standing on a cloud(still chasing that cloud). This is pretty much the same as just about any work shoe, so nothing unique about that. As for repeated wear, same as any other shoe in this price range. Wearing these two days in a row would have you uncomfortable on day 3. Again this is about on par for the price, so nothing notably bad. However, I have found myself preferring a wider toe, and I'm not sure if it's a sizing issue or a shoe issue, but I did begin to notice the toe box becoming more cramped and uncomfortable as time passed.Wearability: if you're a server, waiter, hostess, cleaner, bartender, etc. You'll wanna lean in for this. I like these shoes. After wearing them all day, I still liked these shoes. After playing basketball with the kids after wearing them all day, I still like these shoes. They're slip on/off but they don't just slip off when you don't want them to. The mostly lace-free design works and it's one less thing to worry about when you're running late to work, or you're trying to relax mid shift/when you get home. I found them to be pretty breathable and extremely lightweight. I have horrible plantar fasciitis, so all the advertised details are a must and I don't think these let me down. I'd recommend them, but I'd also recommend buying two pair and alternating them. You are worth it; your body will thank you..Are these waterproof: absolutely not. How water resistant they are is still yet to be determined, but the video speaks for itself.Overall, you won't regret the purchase, but be mindful, the type of shoe that would remain as comfortable as a brand new pair of slippers a week later is not in this price category. These do a fantastic job of doing what they're expected to do. The build quality is solid and if I were in need of a pair of emergency shoes, it would be these.
