Absolutely perfect. I have recently acquired plantar. I was almost limping, let alone running. These shoes lets a 62 year old man run and beat my 9 1/2 year old granddaughter! I even beat my 36 year old friend. I'm not saying that the shoes are magic but damn close😁
These running and athletic shoes aren’t the highest quality option out there, but they still hold up pretty well for the price. The triple-density midsole and carbon plate design give them a surprisingly supportive feel, especially for walking or light workouts. They’re comfortable enough for everyday wear, and the style is clean enough to match with different outfits, so you can definitely make them work in your rotation.While they’re not the most premium or durable shoe you’ll find, they’re perfectly fine for casual use or as a backup pair. If you’re not expecting top-tier performance and just want something affordable that gets the job done, these are okay—I can definitely get with them.

These are pretty odd. I've never seen shoes like this that were men's and women's. It kind of messed up the size. The suggested size for me was a 7, which is what I actually wear in tennis shoes. However, they are about a size too big. You can see in the pic where my toe lands.Aside from that, I am just very uncertain about the durability of these. All the materials are very thin, airy and well-ventilated, yes, but see-through thin. Also, the tongue material is so thin that it just keeps overlapping and bunching up rather than staying in place.The sides of the sole feel like heavy duty foam...not something I'm used to seeing on athletic shoes.The bottom sole has a bit of a curve to it which kind of encourages your foot to roll with each step...like it's doing the work for you.The laces have a texture to them which makes it a little more difficult to pull easily as they kind of grip. But, maybe that will help keep the laces from coming undone.Overall though, I must say they are quite comfortable. Just nothing at all of what I'm used to seeing in an athletic shoe and am worried about how long these will last.
At first I was skeptical of ordering these shoes as I had never heard of the Sonic Cat brand before and seeing the low price I thought these cannot be very good but found them aesthetically pleasing so I ordered them. I have put approximately 30 running/jogging miles on these shoes and man was my initial skepticism wrong. The shoes overall have a good build and material quality, there were no signs of defects when first received and over time and use have shown no degradation that isn't normal to regular use. The upper is light and airy allow for ventilation to kept your feet from sweating. I have average foot width and the upper doesn't feel loose or constrictive. The insole is comfortable and have had no hot spot issues or blisters. The midsole is where these shoes shine as they offer a nice soft feel but not mushy and when you put some force into them they have a nice responsive bounce to them. The outsole is thin allowing for weight reduction without sacrificing any grip. Even the shoelaces feel top notch as they are sawtoothed to prevent them from coming undone. Overall you get great value for the price of these shoes.
I am so disappointed! I ordered the red and white Sonic Cat Athletic shoes in a size 9 for my son for cross country. First, it too forever for them to arrive. Second, I received the purple and pink pair in a size 8.5. They don't fit him and they look like girl shoes so he wouldn't wear them even if they did fit him. They feel really cheaply made, they feel like plastic almost, instead of fabric for the upper part of the shoe. The material is super thin, see through thin. The tongue is really thin fabric that I am concerned might rip if you are pulling on it to get it straight before tying your shoes. I'm not convinced that the sole would make it through one season of cross country but we were not able to use them to know for sure. The sizing is also hard to know what size to get. Is the sizing in men's or women's size. That could be a reason why they didn't fit my son, if they are in women's size he would need to go up at least a full size. The size chart is not helpful either, based on it, my son would need a size 7 (10 inches) and those would not fit as the 8.5 doesn't fit him. They also seem to be pretty narrow so I'm not sure that they really are men's shoes. I wonder if they just need to be labeled as women shoes only. The sizing and fit appears to be women's. They come with a draw string bag which is nice if using for track or cross country to carry them to school and home again. I can not recommend these shoes.
