Wish these came in Extra Wide
____ The Good: ____* In theory these are damn near perfect for my job as a custodial crew lead. I'm on my feet all day, I walk a lot, but I also have to do some event setup that involves moving a lot of folding furniture (and sometimes sports equipment) in a hurry. Footwear that's comfortable, not overly hot, but provides some toe protection against a dropped table or the wheel from a cart is highly appreciated.* Very reasonable price for safety shoes.* Don't look clunky the way a lot of safety shoes do.* The 11 Wides I ordered are true to size (but see below)____ The Bad: ____* Be aware that these are shoes, not boots and not suitable for more dangerous construction or plant work* My big issue here is mostly a me problem, but it's still a problem. My actual shoe side is 10.5 Quad-E. That means for shoes to actually fit, I need Extra-Wide sides, not just single wides. But since only like 7 shoe companies in the world bother with Extra-Wide, I usually try to make do with 11 Wides and a combination of thick socks and insoles. And well, since these are slip-on and don't have the adjustment of laces or velco or those newfangled dial-fit systems, I haven't been able to get these dialed in to where I'd be able to walk 10k to 15k steps in them without problematic rubbing. If you want the full 5 stars from me, you need to offer Extra Wide sides.

Workplace Game Changer
I work in a big box store full time dealing with assembled patio doors, large planking, 6" x 6" x 8' wood beams, and many heavy things in between. Over the past year, I've become enamored with the ease of slip on shoes (a popular brand), but they are much more a slipper than anything close to a work shoe. Looking for a slip on suitable for a lumber yard I found this option from Safetoe. I ordered almost immediately, at less than half the price of the so-called better known brand. At work, younger guys actually handle most of the the heave lifting, but I'm always walking though pallet areas, the shipping dock and pack-out aisles. Accidental kicking of this or that jutting out at low levels with a slip on sneaker with no protection was a painful and common calamity.First day on the job wearing the Safetoe shoes was a game changer. If it comes to just a training day at a computer, I might go back to the high-priced slipons. But most days, I'll chose the comfortable safety of my new easy on Safetoe working shoe.Beyond the hammer and brick protected toe and the slip-resistant sole, I didn't really look at the other safety features until the shoes arrived. These are a big plus!I hope the added photos help. Oh, the matching Sofetoe socks they sent were a very nice bonus, too.Order arrived in just a few days; obviously a close-by supplier.

Needs better insoles but they are nice work shoes.
These work shoes are nice for easy on, easy off. The insoles that came with them are garbage. I was ready to toss the shoes after the first day, but I decided to try a different insole. I bought better insoles made for boots and now they have been great. I am on my feet all day on the farm and they are great for several long days in a row. I didn’t take pictures of them before I started wearing them so I apologize for the dirty shoe in the pictures. I have wore them for about 6 weeks now and the tread still looks and works great. They’re getting broke in with 15-16 hours days, switching between tall boots and these depending on what I’m doing. They are a bit heavy but I like the steel toe for farm work, it just adds a bit of safety that I appreciate. So, with the steel toe and easy on, easy off I give them 4 stars. But because the insoles are so uncomfortable and I had to buy better ones I am taking a star away. So 3 stars from me.

Heavier Than I Expected . .
I love everything about these shoes from the SAFETOE Store, they're well-made, they seem like they will wear well over time, they look good, BUT . . . and this is the only reservation I have - they are heavier than I expected even considering they have steel-toe. I have a couple of other work shoes/boots with a steel toe and they are not as heavy as these shoes. Because these shoes are promotted as being light-weight, I expected something lighter and am giving them Four Stars because of that. If a little extra weight doesn't bother you, these shoes are perfect! Four Stars!

Run a little smaller on sizing
Run smaller so order maybe a 1/2 to a whole size larger. Very nice shoes and I admit my ogre feet are a little different than most others. However, the shoe sizes are a little on the smaller side. I should have ordered the next size up for my feet to have room to fit in these better. Heavy duty feeling and I am sure will protect your feet from minor threats to your little piggies!

Comfortable, good toe protection and traction, true to size
These work shoes have just about everything you could ask for; they slip on easily, are lightweight but with good arch support, are comfortable, have excellent traction, and fit true to size. From stitching to materials to design, these appear to be a high quality item, and have enough style to be good for general wear. On top of that, they offer excellent protection; I chose the steel toe option, and accidentally tested it the first time I wore them, knocking a heavy pipe wrench off the work bench and of course right onto my toe. With a regular shoe that bit of carelessness would have resulted in a couple of broken toes, but all I ended up with was a small scuff on the leather. These shoes do everything I need and more; they are definitely a very good value for the money, and I recommend them.
