Decent boots, fit is accurate
These shoes are built pretty sturdy from what I can see, with good material, stitching and welt. The soles have a good grip underneath that should be suitable for wet surfaces or sandy surfaces. I'll update if I have problems with the construction/durability, but it looks good to start so I'll move on to fit.I normally wear size 11 shoes (accurate for Nike, New Balance, and Wolverine brands), and these fit pretty close. With thicker socks, the steel toe box is a little tight on the top of my front toes and snug around the top of my foot and fits well at the ankle. If ordering again, I might actually go 11.5 to give a little more room up front, but on the other hand these aren't broken in yet and will probably fit just fine after a few days. They slip on pretty easily and have almost enough room to tuck my jeans' cuffs into the top (once again, half size up is possibly better). I don't think I'll be doing that unless it's really muddy out back. Once these break in I think the fit will be pretty good, but I do suggest thicker socks to help cushion the toes. The protection up front on the toes seems pretty solid though and should help in case of accidents or something dropping on your foot. The support around the ankle is pretty good at size 11 for me though, so maybe breaking in will get that toe box and top of foot a bit more comfortable. Overall, sized pretty accurately!They have a good heft without being too heavy and have been flexible enough to move around in and go up and down on a ladder. I don't spend all day working outside everyday, but I do need to work out in the yard sometimes after rains and the Texas mud here is like slippery clay everywhere, and these look great for tromping around in that and hosing off when done. As mentioned about, putting them on is fairly easy with the side straps, removing them isn't too bad so far. Good product that fits as described, will update if they don't last very long. Worth the price listed I think, and a decent deal with a discount.
