Workplace Protection, Comfort, and Performance
I walk a lot at work and need comfortable, lighter weight shoes but also wanted some protection. I tried these Netanac Steel Toe “sneakers” and am pleasantly surprised at how well they perform. My typical day involves steps equaling about 10 miles, so use that as a reference point for your specific work requirement. My biggest concern is bumping into pallets, or having small objects falling on my feet. These shoes provide that protection. They claim to meet ASTM 2413-18 standards. This is a manufacturing standard specifically for toe caps, which I just read on the ASTM website. They also claim to have a Kevlar midsole for puncture protection. It’s one of those features you are happy to have but hope you never test!I usually wear a 10.5-wide, I got these in 11-wide, and the fit is very good. Comfort is very good, especially with the number of steps I take over a long shift. The wide fit gives me just a tad extra room, and I don’t have any discomfort. I would say they are breathable with above average cushioning, almost springy. They don’t claim to be skid or slip resistant, but the traction stands out over other shoes I have that do make that claim. Comfortable, lightweight AND heavy in areas where it counts
I could honestly wear these as everyday "sneakers" - they're that comfortable. The support and softness underneath make this a very comfortable shoe, and the size (11.5) is spot-on.As for the protection - the toes are sturdy and strong. I don't anticipate any major crush issues and after a close call with my car years ago, I'll be wearing these for auto work (and lawn work, heavy duty stuff - really tons of uses). They are not only waterproof, but warm. They're good in the cold weather around me.

I picked these up for my teen for his highschool class requiring steel-toed shoes. Really good quality and fairly lightweight!
It's hard getting comfortable shoes with steel toes for work. When at certain jobsites, boots or shoes that meet certain specs are required. These definitely meet those specs. Not as cushioning as expected, but for the price, you really cannot ask for more in a shoes. They look nice too without weighing you down!
