Lightweight & active teenager approved!
I got these for my very active teenage son & he is very happy with them. They are incredibly lightweight, which makes a huge difference on longer runs. The breathable mesh upper is fantastic. His feet tend to run hot, but he has used these in South Florida during the afternoons & his feet stayed cool & dry. The anti slip rubber sole on these is no joke. The grip is confidence inspiring- never had any issues even when running down hill (although i use that term loosely as we are in Florida). For such a lightweight shoe, the stability seems excellent. His foot didn't slide around inside the shoe & the base feels wide and stable enough to handle uneven ground without feeling like he was going to roll an ankle. Overall, I'm extremely impressed. Highly recommend.

Very nice and comfortable shoes
I'm impressed. They're not as light as I would have liked, but they're pretty darn light. They fit perfectly and they're very comfortable.The tread has impressive grip on my tile floors. So much grip that if you shuffle your feet, you'll probably trip.The insole has anti-odor properties, but I'm not sure how well it works. My feet aren't really very smelly typically. I'll update if I find this to be an inaccurate claim.Breathability seems a bit low, but I haven't had the chance to give them a real running test just yet.Bottom line, they're comfortable and they look good. That's a win in my book.

A Pair of Great Trail-Running Shoes with Appropriately Thicker Soles
A pet peeve of mine is that I have seen too many trail running shoes with thin soles. That tells me that the manufacturer has never ran any trail. Because most trails are littered with stones, pebbles, sticks and other debris. Thin soles means that the runner will feel the debris underneath the feet while running and it can hurt and injure.This pair of trail running shoes is worth of the name. The soles are as thick as I would like them to be, and I have no serious concerns about a sharp twig piercing them. This pair of shoes also comes with quite a few design cues that make it attractive, from the grey lines above the soles to similar grey lines above the top eyelet. Speaking of eyelets, this pair of shoes comes with five on each side, or a total of ten for each shoe. The orange sole insert is also eye-catching and attractive.The grey design cues on this pair of shoes are reflective, and so are the laces, as is much appreciated. The laces are not as thick as I prefer, but they are not so thin as to be impractical. The bottom of the soles have aggressive texturing, as is much appreciated, the better to handle slippery roads/trails (see pictures). While I was able to put this pair of shoes on, they do tend to run small, and going up a half size would seem prudent.

Attractive Design, Solid Materials—but Comfort Falls Short
The shoes look great and the materials feel premium. The breathable mesh upper is excellent and gives a lightweight feel. The anti-slip rubber sole looks rugged and built for outdoor use.However, after wearing them for a full day (I compared them with a brand I already trust), I felt discomfort. The sole doesn’t provide enough cushioning or support—I felt like I was wearing a work boot rather than a running/trail shoe. By the end of the day, my legs felt tired, which should not happen with a good trail trainer.Bottom line: good build and aesthetic, but poor comfort and support for long-wear or trail training. I can’t recommend these for serious outdoor use based on my experience.

Be careful for sizing to make sure these will be comfortable
My feet are a size 9-1/2, but I ordered a size 10 because I have several foot issues that require extra space to be comfortable. When I received the shoe, I thought that I got the wrong pair. The tag in the tongue said these were a size 8! Comparing to my other shoes, these really seemed to be a size 10. I tried them on and found for my use they did not have enough flexibility in the front. They really bound my foot and felt uncomfortable.I gave them to my son to try. He said they were a bit tight but usable. He liked the grip but felt they did not have good breathability and that his feet quickly became hot.
