Beautiful velvet cowboy boots that change color in the light and are comfortable
When I saw these men's velvet cowboy boots, I liked them. I liked the design. I liked the color. I liked the way they looked. At the same time, the sole of the boot has traction on it. I went ahead and picked up the green pair to try and see how nice they actually are.When they arrived, I looked them over to make sure that they came in in perfect condition. I did not find any type of damage whatsoever, such as tears, loose threads, or anything wrong with the sole of the boot to the top of the boot. I found nothing wrong with the boots. I tried them on, and they slipped on beautifully. They slipped off with no hassle.What I love the most about these beautiful boots is that depending on the color and how the light or sun is shining on them, it changes actual colors. It goes from green to black. I'm thinking it has everything to do with the velvet of the material. I went ahead and wore them the very next day to work, and I got nothing but good compliments on the boots. I was able to wear them all day without them actually hurting my feet whatsoever. When I got home, they slipped off with no issues.I like how they reach past the ankle but not all the way up to the calf of the leg. They're well-made boots, very comfortable boots, and the material, as long as you take care of them, is going to last a very long time. I'm giving these boots the five-star rating for those reasons. I'd recommend them.

Funky velvet cowboy-styled Chelsea boots
I go these on a whim because I love funky shoes. I wear a women’s 9.5 and usually a men’s 8 fits me perfectly, but these were just a tiny bit loose and I slide around a little when I walk. Nothing that can’t be fixed with thicker socks. I love the red velvet, it’s so fun and I’ve already gotten multiple compliments on them. The cowboy boot style stitching on a Chelsea boot upper is a little odd looking but not particularly noticeable if you’re wearing longer or more voluminous pants and maybe you’re the kind of freak-flag-flyer that goes for style mashups. I could see these being fun for a groomsman. There’s not much of an arch support inside and the soles definitely feel plastic, but for the price point I expected this. The uppers feel thick and well-stitched and the boots are pretty easy to pull on and off. Being velvet, I doubt these will stand up to heavy wear, but I’m not planning on splashing through mud puddles in shoes like this anyway! Anyway, fun shoes, not gonna be my daily wear but fun to dress up in every now and then.

Nice surprise for Christmas outfit.
I didn't tell my husband I was getting these for his Christmas outfit. At first, he looked at them and said "What are those?" Like, judgmentally. But then he looked closer. The details are really nice. The 9 fit him perfectly (he's usually between 9 and 9.5). They seem sturdy. Overall really nice. Only thing that would make them better would be a zipper on the side, but I can't complain because I knew this before I ordered.

Boots
These are rather interesting boots. I would say there is a lot going on and I can't really imagine the audience for these. I guess a prom-style single or very rare novelty usage where being outrageous is the sum total of the point. For that they work. As a functional shoe they are not tremendously coherent. You would think as a Chelsea boot with multiple patches of velvet-like work and some stitch detailing, that it would be a more delicate/dressy boot with a pointed toe, but not these bad boys. These are very close to square toe and are very broad and clompy like a work boot. Perfect for dress work boot fans! The length is on point for the size ordered. They are of very generous width, so no concerns there. The sole is exceptionally comfortable for a dress shoe, bordering on sneaker almost. These are definitely good for all day moderate walking and maybe even some mild distance walking, but I'm not the once that is going to test that out.
