Very Comfortable
I have to start by saying I am not a shoe expert and I had to look up the difference of Derby Shoes (these with the flaps on the side that the laces go through) and Oxford shoes. To me the difference doesn't really matter as I just look to see if the show looks good or not. While I am not a big fan of the upturned toe on shoes these actually look pretty good (or at least better than I expected) on my feet versus in the pictures.I am also not a big user of platform shoes but I am definitely taller wearing these. The biggest factor to me though, is that they are very comfortable to wear and walk in. Another bonus is that the rubber tread on the bottom provide excellent grip and these are very much non-slip shoes! A final bonus is that my shoes came with a free pair of dress socks (granted, these are the thin standard dress socks).Overall if you like this style of shoe these are very comfortable and provide great performance.

A Buyer's Honest Take on Those "Vintage Leather" Platform Oxfords
I was on the hunt for a shoe that could do it all: something stylish enough for a creative office, casual enough for jeans on the weekend, and with that modern, chunky platform look. I kept seeing ads for these "Men's Vintage Leather Platform Oxfords," and the description hit every keyword: "Classic Comfort," "Non-Slip," "Business Casual." I decided to order a pair. Here’s my experience after wearing them for a few weeks. The Good: The First ImpressionRight out of the box, I was impressed with the look. The style is exactly what I wanted. The Look is Spot-On: They have that perfect chunky-but-classy silhouette. The round toe is comfortable, and the platform sole adds a nice bit of height and a confident, modern edge. They looked great with both dark jeans and a pair of dress trousers.Instant Comfort (Mostly): I was surprised by how comfortable they were when I first put them on. There was virtually no break-in period. The sole felt soft, and I didn't get any immediate rubbing or pinching, which is rare for a dress shoe.Good Grip: The "non-slip" claim seems to hold up. The rubber sole has a good tread and feels secure on tile floors and pavement. The Bad: The Reality CheckUnfortunately, the initial excitement started to fade pretty quickly. The issues all seem to come down to one thing: the "vintage leather."Questionable Materials: Let's be honest, at this price point, I wasn't expecting high-end Italian leather. But the material on these shoes barely qualifies as "leather" in my opinion. It has a very strong, chemical, rubbery smell right out of the box—like a new set of tires. The "leather" upper feels plasticky and stiff, and it creases in an unnatural, cheap-looking way.Heel Discomfort: That "out-of-the-box" comfort disappeared after about an hour of walking. The back of the heel is very rigid and started to dig into my Achilles. I had to add some heel cushions just to make them wearable for a full day.Durability Doubts: Because the upper feels more like a synthetic coating than actual leather, I have serious doubts about how these will hold up. I can't polish them like a real leather shoe, and I'm half-expecting the "leather" to peel or crack after a few more weeks of wear.My Final VerdictThese shoes are a classic case of style over substance. They absolutely look the part and are great if you want to try out the platform derby trend for a season without a big investment. If you're buying them for a specific event or for very light, occasional wear, they're fine. But if you're looking for a durable, comfortable, "business" shoe that you can wear every day, this isn't it. Think of them as a fashion accessory, not a long-term addition to your wardrobe.

Stylish Statement Shoes
These are definitely attention-grabbing shoes with a unique style and color combo. They’re comfortable, with a wide toe box and good support, and not as heavy as they look. The material doesn’t quite feel or breathe like real leather, but overall they look great on and I’m happy with them.

Stylish but a little strange looking
These shoes are OK. The fit is pretty reasonable, they aren't too big or too small for their stated size. They seem to be of pretty decent quality for the price point--perhaps not vintage leather, but they feel and look like fine quality and not super cheap or flimsy. They're not too heavy. I think I'd like them more in a darker color because as they are right now they have an almost... clownish vibe. Like I'm a Kingdom Hearts character. They're just big and kind of bulky, the rise in the toe makes them look almost cartoonish, they're different. If you're going for different then these are great, they'd be nice with wide pants legs, but I think they're a little odd with leggings or tight socks. So just know what you're getting into with the style. Otherwise these are nice quality and not bad shoes at all, just not exactly what I expected.
