Designed with Extra Comfort and Relief
This is a review of the men's wide diabetes shoes in the size 9 Wide. These shoes are designed with many features to provide comfort from diabetic foot pain. They have a breathable fabric, a wide toe box, and plush, extra cushioning throughout. The wide Velcro buckle opens on both sides, making it easy to slip the shoes on and off. The Velcro can be adjusted to loosen or tighten according to swelling. The double layered insoles can be customized based on daily swelling levels, as the top insoles can easily be removed. The shoe bottoms have an anti-slip design. The shoes look somewhat like a pair of slippers, but could also pass as a normal pair of shoes. If you are suffering from any type of foot pain and discomfort, this is a wonderful choice for relief. These shoes are of excellent quality and a great value, and I recommend them. Your feet will thank you.

Good fit for wide feet and nice clean look.
The shoes are nice to wear around the house. I change into the Penicfine shoes when coming in from outdoors and wear them whenever I am inside. They have a nice clean look to them and their snug fit makes going up and down the stairs less "risky". I usually wear shoes at least one size too big because my toe nails bruise easily, but that leads to some slipping around inside the shoe and also catching the toe on the lip of the steps when going up. Note: I live in a vertical townhouse with four floors so I am constantly going up and down the stairs.I am deducting a star since I noticed that one of the stitches holding the Velcro pad to one of the shoes is coming undone. I can probably fix this myself, but it should have been caught by Quality Assurance before the shoe was sold. It isn't a high priority for me, but I'll have to do something in a month or two.It is best to wear these with socks. They are okay with bare feet, but it doesn't feel like my feet are getting enough air.Originally, I was attracted to these because of the "roomy toe box" mentioned in the description. I have triple-E wide feet and can verify that these shoes are sufficiently wide if not literally roomy. My smart-watch generally indicates that I achieve greater than 10 stories of climbs each day, so I am putting these shoes to the test and they have passed.

Extremely Comfortable and Supportive for Sensitive Feet!
These shoes are a game-changer for anyone dealing with foot discomfort, neuropathy, or swelling. The wide design provides plenty of space for swollen feet or bunions, and the adjustable straps make it easy to get a snug, customized fit. The cushioning is excellent it absorbs impact while walking and reduces pressure on sore spots, making long walks much more comfortable. The orthopedic support is noticeable, helping to relieve foot fatigue and providing stability with every step. The materials feel soft yet durable, and the shoes are lightweight, which adds to the all-day comfort. They also look surprisingly modern for a medical shoe, so they can be worn casually without feeling clinical.Overall, these are perfect for anyone needing diabetes-friendly, orthopedic shoes that combine support, comfort, and style. Highly recommend!

Great walking shoes; Very easy to put on
I ordered the orthopedic black and white shoes by Penicfine for my husband as he has a lot of pain and swelling in his feet and lower legs. It states that they are good for relieving neuropathy, aches, and pain. They are very comfortable and they have a Velcro closure top that totally pulls back, making it very easy to get your foot in the shoe, even when swollen. Also perfect for people who have pain or swelling in their hands being you can just skip your foot in and there aren't any laces to deal with. They have a "shock absorber" type of cushion in the heel area, and a double layer of inner cushioning. The two inner liners have a combined thickness of 5/8 inch. The shoe's upper is fabric and the sole a man-made rubber type with good traction on the bottom. I ordered the size 13 which fit my husband perfectly. He normally wears a 13 or 14, depending on the brand and the width. The size 13 measures 12.5 inches long from heel to toe, along the bottom on the outside. These are going to be perfect as my Husband's new walking shoes!

Good quality but the outside of the shoe is a little harder than expected
I got these as a gift for my step-dad who is diabetic and deals with some issues in his feet from neuropathy. They look to be a really good quality. Obviously I’m not wearing them, but I did poke inside the shoe and it felt comfortable. However, the actual shoe itself feels a bit “rough” or a little harder than I was expecting. I’m hoping when wearing them that isn’t the case. The bottom has a decent tread, so they shouldn’t be slippy walking on either carpet or hardwood. The tread is clearly not made to do any hiking or whatever, but for every day walking should work really well. If he has any issues with them after wearing them awhile, I will definitely come back and update my review.

Top of the line
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and have been a huge help on days when that pins and needles feeling starts creeping into my feet. The wide toe box gives plenty of room without any pressure at all, and the soft, cushioned sole feels great with every step. The color is easy to pair with just about anything, so they work well for everyday wear. The Velcro top is the real convenience factor here, since it makes slipping them on and off completely effortless. They feel supportive, gentle on sensitive feet, and simple to adjust. These have definitely earned a spot in the regular rotation. Crocs might need to scoot over a bit.
