Hunt for wide fit cycling shoes is done!
As the title suggests, I've been on quite a hunt for wide fit cycling shoes. I could've went with something priceier like the Sidi genius 10 but 1) I'm new to cycling and 2) other websites have very convoluted return process I decided to give some Amazon shoes a shot. Tried another pair from this brand and after confirming this brand makes a wider fit with a smaller instep (they were still a little too big) I took the dive and ordered these despite having only two reviews. For the price, I am very happy. They fit both two bolt and three bolt cleats, I have plenty of room in the two box without it just being a "high volume" toe box (I'm looking at you Shimano), the rachet is very nice for getting is snug to your ankle and not gonna lie, love a pair of white shoes that matches everything. I recommend adding to cart to see the European size as that is more accurate.

Suitable replacement for Peloton branded shoes
For the price compared to Peloton, these are pretty good. I usually don’t use Peloton branded shoes myself, for the past year I have been wearing Tommaso shoes so I cannot compare these to any other shoes.The good: these seem plusher on the bottom and sides. I definitely felt a bit of cushioning when out of the saddle. They fit well - I consider my feet wide and am generally more comfortable in wider shoes but I didn’t notice any pinching. The price is great, Peloton branded shoes are often $100-$120. I think the Tommaso shoes I got were around $80.The meh: I did notice my feet were a little warmer. This has pretty thick sides, lots of insulation and it doesn’t have all the mesh of my other shoes. That said, it was only slightly warmer. While in the saddle I felt pretty good but I did notice the more plush insole when out of the saddle.Overall, I will still use these shoes. The price is significantly less. My “meh” list is more of a preference thing. They are floofier than my other shoes, thus a bit warmer, but they work as they should and might be a bit more comfortable. I think the clasp works great for putting them on and taking them off and even has a metal upper. I like the white color.
